  1. The person that criticised the report was a Professor Emeritus of Statistics.... The report has been criticised by a lot of people... In 2003 Professor Dustmann produced a report that said East European migration would be 5,000 to 13,000 people a year. How wrong were his forecasts? Yet the BBC (and people like you) take everything he says as if he was the messiah. FFS, even taking the report at face value shows that overall EEA and non EEA migrants are a drain to the taxpayer. At this moment Goebbels and Hitler are high fiving each other laughing at how people like you are being fooled by propaganda.
  2. why bother with expensive fishing gear when fish will jump in your boat instead? [ame] [/ame]
  3. The report was discredited by a colleague of the authors at UCL.... The person that discredited it was a Professor Emeritus in statistics called Mervyn Stone. He said the report contained "schoolboy errors". So to sum up, a couple of academics produce reports that have previously been proved entirely wrong. They produce a report that "shows" immigration is good for the UK. This report is widely criticised by fellow academics and by anyone that looks at it that has half a brain. Yet the BBC and media use this report repeatedly to show that immigartion is good for the UK...
  4. Dustmann and Frattini are the same chancers that forecasted 13,000 East europeans would migrate to the UK each year.... The paper you refer to has been widely discredited...
  5. But the article in the Guardian says EEA migrants make a tiny net contribution to the taxpayer? Is that the point you're making? The article says that EEA migrants make a net contribution of £2 billion a year. We spend about £120 billion a year on the NHS and £240 billion on welfare benefits. Surely in the context of running the NHS and welfare state £2 billion a year is nothing? Then of course the research does not include the cost of brits losing their jobs to migrants... So this idea that we need migrants to pay our pensions is at best misleading...
  6. Yes I will trash it because the report is trash.... The report claims EEA migrants have contributed £25 billion more in tax than they paid in over 13 years. If we take that at face value what does it actually mean to the average Brit? It means EEA migrants have contributed a net £2 billion a year to the taxpayer. There are 60 million brits in the UK. That means each Brit gets another £30 a year from the contribution EEA migrants make... That's about 60 pence a week... So the marvellous contribution EEA migrants make to the average Brit is the price of a Mars bar each week... However the report doesn't include some of the costs that the EEA migrants will cost us. It doesn't include the cost of reduced wages of Brits, it doesn't include the Brits that lose their jobs to migrants, it doesn't include the cost of congestion, it doesn't include the cost of additional prison places, it doesn't include the umpteen other costs that an enlarged population costs the taxpayer. That report also said that non EU migration had cost the taxpayer £90 billion in the same period. Why did you fail to mention that?
  7. Compared to Delhi in the summer Shimla was heaven... I don't know how people could live in these place before air con.
  8. I went there with the intention of staying 6 months, however I came home after a month. Tbh, I just felt it too full on and got pissed off at the number of people trying to sell me stuff or asking for money. The beggars are a real eye opener, I remember seeing this guy with half an arm. Half of his arm bone was just sticking out the stub of his arm I went to Delhi, Dharamsala and saw a hill town called Shimla. I have to admit staying in Shimla and waking up each day to see the Himalayas was brill I'd go back as part of an organised tour. I quite fancy going to Goa and maybe Jaipur and where they burn the bodies on the Ganges. PS it was Bombay when my family where there.
  9. I work on a UK construction site. We have a Portugese subcontractor that pays his Portugese workers £5 an hour. Some of them were caught stealing food in Aldis. I've heard some of them haven't been paid since Christmas and they were stealing other workers sandwiches in the canteen. Why don't you provide the "stats"? You were the one that was saying migration was brilliant. It seems bizarre that you wouldn't provide the "stats" to make me look stupid..... That's interesting. Where did you get that information? The book of made up facts? So at what point do we start taking terrorism seriously? How many deaths do we have before you admit we have a problem? Yeah, the BBC isn't biased at all. If someone has mobile phone footage of a migrant getting abused on a tram they will run the footage on the news. However when the BNP say that white kids getting raped by migrants they seem strangely unwilling to investigate. I'm glad Trump has banned them from press briefings for being biased...
  10. I believe it was Bombay. Have you been to India? The Taj Mahal is awesome.
  11. They started a dye works and were involved in shipping. Before anyone gets the wrong idea, no they weren't incredible wealthy.
  12. Tbh, i fully accept that the brits were unwelcome in India and Africa etc and it was time to go "home". It just seems unfair that brits are then expected to welcome Indians and africans in Britain when we had just been kicked out of their countries.
  13. Unfortunately the warnings from the "racists" seem to be coming true.... In 2004 the BNP were saying that Asian gangs were sexually abusing vulnerable white kids in northern towns... They were right.... If the media had actually listened to them less kids would have been abused in places like Rotherham. 500 europeans killed by terrorists in the last two years. Is that not a "river of blood"... How many migrants do we have in the UK? 5 million or something? Yet the NHS goes from crisis to crisis.... How many migrants do we need before the NHS is fixed? If the migrants are so good why are their own countries so poor? If the migrants are so good should we not be charitable and send them to poor countries to build their economies? Someone on minimum wage pays about £1500 a year in income tax and NI. Do you think that's enough to pay for the NHS/ state benefits/ housing/ schools etc? It's quite clear that the vast bulk of migrants are a drain to the taxpayer... Do you have any proof that migrants are net contributors to the UK taxpayer? Or is it something the BBC told you?
  14. Yes, the nhs and education are also a concern to the electorate. I'd imagine some of the more intelligent members of the electorate would realise that mass migration puts pressure on these public services... I know someone whose daughter's class has 17 different languages spoken in it. Do you think that's good for her education? Or maybe you've been to a hospital waiting room and half the patients are foreign?
  15. For 200 years my family lived in India. Then in 1947 my family had to come back to the UK. Why is it OK for Indians and Africans etc to kick the brits out of their countries but brits just have to accept them coming here without complaint? Is it really "racist" to want europe to remain european?
  16. I often think it's rubbish how political parties parachute in candidates to fight elections. They should have a local MP for local people. I was surprised at the acceptance speech by the newly elected Stoke Labour MP... "Those who came to Stoke-on-Trent to stoke hate and division and turn us against our neighbours, I have one simple message: you have failed... "We have said with one voice that hate and bigotry is not welcome here." Immigration is one of the main concerns of the electorate, yet it appears that Labour are still sticking their fingers in their ears and saying "not listening".
  17. Labour lost one of their seats in a by election to the Tories. I can't help thinking it will be decades before Labour form a Government again I was disappointed that UKIP never got the Stoke constituency Having said that, the UKIP candidate was bizarre, imagine making stuff up about having lost friends at Hillsborough.
  18. Is there easy vehicular access to the lake? If there is you could float the log over the lake?
  19. I think we discussed 18 pages ago that a white person walking the streets of Pakistan/ Afghanistan/ Iraq/ Somalia etc is likely to be killed by the locals. Is it not "common sense" to reduce migration from those places?
  20. Swedish authorities have a policy of hiding crimes committed by migrants. So how can we know that immigration is working as successfully as you claim? Why did Sweden have to take responsibility? The problems in Syria and Eritrea are nothing to do with Sweden? How many more migrants can Sweden take before you run out of taxpayers cash? Sweden is a great country. However you cant continue to import the third world and remain a great country. In 2016 there were 23 grenade attacks in Sweden (plus other explosive devices). I'd suggest we consider that before we all get our "Refugees Welcome" banners out the loft. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_grenade_attacks_in_Sweden
  21. I should be in jail with opinions like mine? What are you? A Nazi or something? Yeah Mark, you've already threatened to kill me once. Maybe you should watch Prime Minister's Questions to see how to make a convincing argument? I personally don't think threatening violence is a good way to convince people your viewpoint is correct.
  22. Well done for responding without just copying in something from facebook. I agree that there is more to the number of blacks in prison than just skin colour. Maybe it's more likely to be a cultural problem? Black culture seems to be overwhelmingly violent, rap music does seem to contain a lot of references to "putting a cap in someone's ass". I cant be the only person here that was shocked (and disgusted) at how the black community rioted after black gangster Mark Duggan was shot. Anyway, why do we want migrant groups that cause problems in society?
  23. The evidence I presented shows that black people are about 5 times more likely to be in prison than white people. Do you have anything to comment on that? Or do you think the Houses of Parliament are "racist"?
  24. When did your granddad tell you that? When you went to see him in prison? You come across as an absolute thug. Do you really think threats of violence win people over to your side of the argument? Or do you think they make people take my side?
