That's what I thought, and the results are great.
  7. Why? I sell logs, they are seasoned and burn just fine, I know this because I burn them on my burner and I have the chimney cleaned every year and there is very little spot or build up according to my sweep. People are brainwashed into moisture content, just like they are brainwashed into the soft wood is crap vibe.
  8. I had a Arb trolley, it was a stein one. I used it on a few jobs and then it sat in the shed for a year so I sold it. They are a good idea but not for me. I think because I can track my chipper into a lot of jobs helps if not we just drag the stuff out. A couple of the lads who help me preferred to drag or carry brash out rather than load up the trolley, move to the chipper and then in load it again. Just my angle on it.
  9. What did cave men do to test the moisture content or Henry the 8th?? Fire has been around for thousands of years, it's been used for cooking and heating since the dawn of time, long before any fancy moisture meters. People are getting brainwashed by stove company's and the likes.

Mine is 160 BHP now with a 30% increase in Torque or so I'm told. It's a flyer with the trailer on and even better with the trailer off.
  12. 2 more now, small chestnut and a small syc.
  13. Just had a birch shed its top, nice little job for first thing.
  14. There are plenty that talk the talk, they turn up with the entire stock of honey brothers shiny stuff on their harness but can even get in the tree :roll eyes:

That's what I wanted, and the re map has done that where when I had a chip it didn't.

I have not altered my intercom lee Jon, I have changed the pipes though. I am not after a performance flying machine, I just want some grunt when towing, which it now has. Very happy and a great price.

I've just had my defender 130 tipper re mapped, this was because it was lacking mid range torque when towing my tracked chipper. I was put on to this company Home a couple of lads I know got there defenders done and I had my old Audi done by them. The result is excellent, good throttle response, hills I used to be in first gear I can do in 2nd and 3rd, pulling out of junctions is far better as I don't need to rev the tits off her anymore. I'm not sure on the figures but it has made a positive difference.
  20. I will pop along for a bit of a crack Kev.
  21. Lure Mendip jon up with chocolate covered Kendal mint cake, he has a thing for it.
  22. What about a GX 84 plant trailer? That's what I use for mine. I may be selling it as I've got another trailer for my chipper and grinder coming.
  23. Looks a good do Paul mate. Have a good night.
  24. Dougie Ivenson was a great place, his mrs was a monster though, you Darby ask or touch anything if she was around.
