  1. It was really chilled, we were very gentle with it and it was so good for the kids to get close to this brilliant creature. I love them.
  2. Brilliant walk today on some of our local Limestone pavements, we even found a slow worm so I let the kids have a hold and experience these great little creatures. I had one as a pet as a kid. They are great and it was good to see one in its natural habitat. They are protected in the UK but you can handle them. my little lad was made up. We then put it back where we found it and watched as it blended in with its surroundings and disappeared. Brilliant.
  3. Yes it can get hot, however we usually have the hose on then for water fights[emoji23][emoji23]
  4. I looked at one a while back and when I read the payment terms I was shocked, it was along the lines of they pay you 60% of your invoice 90 days from invoice date and then the next 40% after a further 60 days but only if they are happy with your work....needless to say I explained in plain terms what I thought of their payment terms🤣🤣
  5. Yeah, echo not still bud🤦🏻‍♂️[emoji23][emoji23]
  6. Where do these company's come up with the pricing structure? I've looked at work before and they are in cuckoo land.....yet there are company's that will do the work for peanuts??
  7. Rather convenient don't you think🤣🤣🤣🤣
  8. Good job I use Stihl then[emoji23][emoji23] never had an issue with "that bio crap"🤦🏻‍♂️
  9. You wanna get out more if you think artificial grass is so bad.....come on if someone wants it in their garden good for them.[emoji23]🤦🏻‍♂️
  10. I don't agree, we had a real lawn for years, no matter how much I tried it had moss and muddy spots, the kids couldn't play on it if it had been wet, they wore patches away from playing football. Real grass is a pain if you have kids and want to use the space all year round. Our lawn now gets loads of use, feels fine under foot or to lie on.
  11. I can recommend Supertack bio chain oil, £59 plus vat for 25l from Clarke Forest. I've used it for over 10 years without issue.
  12. We're over run with it in the Lakes.....
  13. Yea they look like Sandvik teeth or Razor teeth. QRMS do after market replacements if you need and, I think they are a fiver each..
  14. I use super tack bio oil and it's £59 plus vat for 25lt. It's good stuff.
  15. I hear about this a lot from the lads I use, They are sub contractors and they set their rates. I either pay that or I don't. This rate is per day or by the job. If they get that work done by 2pm then they go home being paid for the day, if the take till 6pm to do the job they go home paid for the day. They bring all their own kit etc and do the job. A lot of company's treat them like employees when it suits. Sorry to derail the post and I'm sure you will find someone.
  16. You can use it how you like mate. I fill all my vehicles up with it no problem. Obviously you need to be spending about £400 a month on fuel but best contact a provider for the details. Being vat reg I get it for the price I posted earlier but if you are not vat reg then you pay vat on top. Saving anything is better than nothing surely?
  17. Yes it's ex VAT but I'm VAT reg so that's what I pay.
  18. It's fuel card services I use. Liz is very helpful. [email protected]
  19. Sounds a good machine, got any pics of the teeth? I bet the fork lift broom is useful....
  20. A windblown Conny stump to do this morning. 45 mins from arriving to leaving[emoji23][emoji23] the revolution cutting wheel is excellent.
  21. Good luck! I'm paying £.1.43 with my fuel card...get a fuel card!!
  22. I'm the same, I can't be bothered with arseholes anymore, people think they can treat use like something they stepped in sometimes and it's usually because of a situation like this. I nearly punched a bloke when we were cutting his trees back off my customers garden. He had agreed to them cutting back to the boundary, however when he started ranting and raving at me for cutting the trees as per the agreement. He then said he would sue me and all the rest I suggested he go away before I do something which I will regret. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji123] and I am not a violent person but sometimes........
