Thanks spud, the guy has had it at the local husky dealer and they can't seem to fix it??? I will try what you have said on it and see what happens. It's the lad that works for me and he is just trying to get a cheap saw to get him going:)

Hi all, my mate has a 357, it smokes a lot on tickover and uses alot of fuel especially on tickover? Any Ideas guys?

I use aspen all the time and think its worth paying for as when I work with people who don't use aspen I realise how flipping stinky normal fuel/oil mix is, it makes me feel sick. I buy 60ltrs at a time from Anglo American the aspen distributors, I think it's worth it not to feel sick and get headaches.

Mine broke 2 times today so I lost 2hrs money getting it sorted and now won't be ready till tomorrow. 1st the starter case broke, the mounting for the pull cord came away completely so I left site and went to my husky dealer who swooped it for a case off a brand new saw, I went back to site and carried on working then this afternoon the chain brake band broke, so I have lost 2 hrs pay:( will husky refund this to me? Doubt it. I am now very wary about this saw lets hope that's the end of the problems.

This week I'm working I'm the woods for a forestry contractor, I really enjoy it as you turn up fell trees and go home. I got home to an answer phone message telling me a job I had booked for a couple of weeks time has been cancelled due To them getting a cheaper quote after accepting mine. I really can't be bothered anymore, customers can be a pain at the best of times but they all seem to be trying it on at the moment. Trying to knock you down in price, I've just about had it with em:(

He needs to be able to handle a saw and know how to look after one, the only way to do that is to have one on hand to get used to, telling him a saw wont come in handy IMO is not true.

He has done some climbing for me and to be honest after watching the free climbing stuff I would say that the rope and harness hold him back, the free climbing is awesome.

I love apple products and I don't care what people think!! people should get a life instead of getting so worked up slagging apple. after all we have freedom of choice and free speech in this world. What's the big deal?
