  1. But that's what gambling is about.
  2. I run 2t and 4t and have done for years without issue. It will be interesting to see what caused the seizure.
  3. Hi, why not use the search function on Arbtalk? There are quite a few threads about green teeth at the moment:)
  4. Once again were slagging off something on Arbtalk that we have some control over, if you don't like it don't play it but you fancy having a go then play it. I had a large win 10 years ago, it's helped me set up my business and I still play now. There are so many threads on here now where we seem to get really worked up about thing which we can control by not taking part/buying etc. I'm really changing my thinking on certain thing about Arbtalk and finding my way to deal with these thing.
  5. Everyone should have at least 1 spare set. Blunt blades do the machine no good and put stress on bearings. For such an expensive bit of kit they are cheap things to buy but have a massive impact on reliability of a machine. There is no excuse for blunt blades;)
  6. Yes it does
  7. Yes Johnny. 2T
  8. They won't mate, not enough people will use it, iv Been using it about 4 years and buying it like this makes it doable.
  9. Thanks Barrie @ Garden Kit for sorting me out! It arrived safe and sound as scheduled today!!
  10. With spectrum plant it's free post to send the blades, that's a saving to start with.
  11. Spectrum plant offer a free post service to send blades and then it's £8.50 for return postage regardless of how many blades you get done. 230 blades are £12 plus vat per blade. 150 are £5.50 per blade and Jensen are £15 per blade.
  12. Spectrum plant a good for Timberwolf. Another thing to consider is having a spare set to put in while you get the others ground. It's all a business expense so goes against your tax. Why scrimp on an expensive bit of kit??
  13. What chipper? Some need hollow grinding to get the best from the chipper and be best for the bearings. It will tell you in the owners manual what is best for the machine.
  14. 550 xpg, I have had mine for 2 years and it's brilliant. Far,far better than the 560 I had.
  15. Thanks for the tips.
  16. It is what it is. I have one of those and the vibration gets my hands and also no fuel to buy for it so that's a bonus.
  17. £608 plus vat but I get that back so £608. Lol. Well worth it.
  18. Weld a washer on, if u don't have a elder take it to a local place that does 10 mins and your sorted
  19. I just took the plunge and bought a set of Battery hedge cutters, 2 battery's and a quick charger. I had been given tips on how to use them and get the most out of a battery and was excited to have a go. First up the weight is strange but once you get used to not having a lot of weight in your hands it's great, easy to move around and you get a great cut. I was trimming my 2 years growth of a conny hedge, easy. Long fronds of conny on the top thick as your finger, easy. It's great not having the noise too. I run aspen so fumes arnt really an issue but there is a big difference in vibrations. Hardly any vibrations which is great. I did the hedge face and bits of the top from the ground and step ladder and it used one light segment of power, so not much. You need to put wd40 on every 10-15 mins depending what you cut to reduce friction and get the most from the charge, 2hours I've been told. I can really recommend them if you like me do lots of hedges they really are worth the money.
  20. Maybe get a pro in:)
  21. I have one on my new 230 VTR, it's under the hopper and fixes to the chassis on a cradle. I use a super winch, I can't remember which one though.
  22. Cheers, good climber and and eye on the ground.
  23. Today's job
  24. Looks like it would only fit a Seal with those sleeves mate. Lol.
  25. Less is more apparently
