With spectrum plant it's free post to send the blades, that's a saving to start with.

Spectrum plant offer a free post service to send blades and then it's £8.50 for return postage regardless of how many blades you get done. 230 blades are £12 plus vat per blade. 150 are £5.50 per blade and Jensen are £15 per blade.

Spectrum plant a good for Timberwolf. Another thing to consider is having a spare set to put in while you get the others ground. It's all a business expense so goes against your tax. Why scrimp on an expensive bit of kit??

What chipper? Some need hollow grinding to get the best from the chipper and be best for the bearings. It will tell you in the owners manual what is best for the machine.

I just took the plunge and bought a set of Battery hedge cutters, 2 battery's and a quick charger. I had been given tips on how to use them and get the most out of a battery and was excited to have a go. First up the weight is strange but once you get used to not having a lot of weight in your hands it's great, easy to move around and you get a great cut. I was trimming my 2 years growth of a conny hedge, easy. Long fronds of conny on the top thick as your finger, easy. It's great not having the noise too. I run aspen so fumes arnt really an issue but there is a big difference in vibrations. Hardly any vibrations which is great. I did the hedge face and bits of the top from the ground and step ladder and it used one light segment of power, so not much. You need to put wd40 on every 10-15 mins depending what you cut to reduce friction and get the most from the charge, 2hours I've been told. I can really recommend them if you like me do lots of hedges they really are worth the money.

I have one on my new 230 VTR, it's under the hopper and fixes to the chassis on a cradle. I use a super winch, I can't remember which one though.

I had a 3090 mate, I found the bit for the light but they are pricey even after market ones. I got mine from Local Massey dealer. It was the one with the link buttons on.

Trust 01604 492644 ask for Cameron. I have been with them for 10 years and they have paid up when needed to. I have everything insured by them.

I think there about a grand. Must have some guys to be able to pull that tree over.
