Is there not a safety check valve in the ram connection, that prevents an uncontrolled drop if the pipe gets cut or ripped off ? Toggling the two switches is probably fooling this action. I don't know ifor tippers have this but seen it on agricultural grain trailers etc.

Now there's the magic words, same goes for the sound of whistling cords and a seriously overloaded engine when operators pay out way too much cord on a bump head, and thats before they attempt to start cutting. When I hear that ,I just want to snatch it from them and trim the lines down

Its pretty rare is it not that a licensed gun owner of any sort goes shit crazy? Look to the unlicensed and the don't give a f#ck mindset, then try to round em up. Same sort of policing goes with motor crimes. The licensed and legal guys are the easy targets to control with minimal effort

Thought about doing domething like this myself once, but decided it could be construed as criminal damage. The much more discreet but satisfying alternative was a goodly dose of 34% urea nitrogen fertiliser at night, then spent next six months watching the poor prick furiously mowing his lawns, growing twice as fast as he could cut. Must have cost a fortune in fuel.😆

Very easy to overstretch a non genuine circlip , beyond its "springiness". If I have to use them I try to wind them in rather than forcing them into a too tight circle, if that makes sense

Why not take off what looks like another 5', to where the main bulk off the trees are? You'll still retain the screen effect and get rid of the horrid bare stems, and gives time for any underplanting to get going. You'll get new growth, though chaotically, and the screen will be undisturbed, -

It got better.... wife returned back from shops with a couple of fine rib eyes for supper, so I saved half the morels, then dry fried with the steaks. Wow, what a tasty double protein punch of a meal. Unfortunately the morel season seems to be quite short. This is the second time I've found them growing out of woodchip. 😋😋 -
Unfortunately he seems to half know what the right talk is for our industry. However he sure spends a lot of time trumpeting advice when the rest of you guys are out working, aiming to do the best job you can, to get away from the image long held , that we're a group of chancers.
