  1. Yeuch, that's disturbingly real !
  2. I'm beginning to wish I hadn't
  3. Should there not be a comma after the phrase 'fit in' ? Or is there more to Stubby than expected ? [emoji12]
  4. Good effort by both Fred and yourself to get it in place, enjoy the cutting.
  5. A bit more wind needed in that front right tyre would be my recommendation [emoji3] Might make the steering a little lighter, and save a costly replacement
  6. Another vote for baltic abrasives. They happily created some custom discs for me and the lucas mill, to my own spec, at reasonable cost and quick turnround and delivery.
  7. "Well Mylud, he was a really annoying groundy, but I really can't explain what happened. One minute he was there, next, chomp chomp chomp , gone. All that was left was his earmuffs and a boot. - took a damned long time to unblock that pipe.....messy job it was Your Honour "
  8. With all the renewed travel restrictions I believe I'm going to be unavailable for any sort of probing or inspection works for the foreseeable future, and I'm sure that's going to be a very long time indeed.... sorry not to be of service. [emoji12]
  9. Are you sure you've got a sticky ring? Brave words indeed to shout out on arbtalk [emoji16][emoji16]
  10. Enjoy, We've had the meat out of it, but there's still bones and teeth left ! I have to say our forecasters are bloody good at what they do, so hour by hour we knew what was ahead of us, predicted yesterday, so we could do all the preps necessary. Genny was fueled up yesterday and extra available for a hard day's work today.
  11. Yep, the strongest front of it is just pushing into the Irish sea now, heading for Wales. Tie everything down
  12. Look out all of you whining girlies over there. Storm Barra heading your way now. We've had a hell of a pasting over here, SW Ireland. Average wind speeds 80-90 kmh gusts (prolonged) of 130k's. Its been a truly violent day. Anyone doing clearance works etc take care , lookout for hangers as well as what you're focusing on.
  13. I keep trying to but its an impossible optical illusion [emoji85][emoji85][emoji85]
  14. He looks a well chilled, happy dude of a dinosaur. Great stuff. Just shown it to my wife, she wants me to make her one - not a bloody hope !
  15. Just to mussel in on this one, but if I attempted this it would look pretty crab. Haven't got the Bird's-Eye for carving
  16. Earlier woodland mills seem to made out of recycled rust particles and are really shit if left outdoors with no protection. No amount of oil spraying can stop the inevitable decay. I know, I have one. Simple, cheap and basic but very low quality.
  17. I (fall) arrest you in the name of the law ?....... think it's time for bed now , sorry everyone
  18. Spot on there with the water valves, saves a whole heap of stress when you really don't need it. The same thing applies with D and bow shackles for lifting or recovery. Do em up, then back off an touch, especially if there's any chance of overloading/ distorting them.
  19. I'm not sure I'd buy them new at that price either. If it seems too good to be true, there's often a good reason !
  20. I gnash my gums in impotent fury..,...what a marvellous phrase.
  21. Plumber's lamp ? Def showing your age there now spud . Ask a modern plumber to fire up his lamp, he'd get his torch on his phone to light up your dark recess. [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
  22. Bit of a long distance runaround though,Mick [emoji444] [emoji444]
