  1. To run a compressor or power washer requires a large generator, usually 5kva as a large start up current is required on any machine ie PW or compressor that starts under load. A Honda GX engine is the best but to have a low noise one this size will be about £15-2000
  2. We send out hundreds of saws a year. We use APC-overnight as found to be the most reliable . They might not be cheapest and certainly charge more for "exotic" UK postcodes, but if its a £500 saw, does anyone care. Its better to actually get item.
  3. This saw uses a 3005 000 4813 16 inch guidebar that is the maximum size it will take and the biggest 3/8lp bar that Stihl make.. If it running hot, then check there isn't a bent drive tooth
  4. You will need an operators licence as truck is for commercial use. You will need a driver CPC unless you can demonstrate that you are only carrying tools of the trade. Once you carry produce of trade ie logs, then you need a CPC. I suspect you could be tacho exempt on arb work within a 100km radius of base
  5. No, Viking ride ons are made by Viking in their own factories, I have been to the factory in Austria, very impressive, by Viking , part of Stihl. From 2019, they will be Orange and branded Stihl. They work very well, have great wet grass collection and parts are sensible price
  6. We have a simple holiday policy, only 1 person per premises off at any one time and unpaid leave only by prior agreement, those with holidays left take priority. Unpaid leave is not an entitlement except in emergency. Christmas holidays employees need to reserve are advised at beginning of leave year
  7. Best idea is a new short block, contact your local Briggs dealer for a price
  8. In the back of my mind, I have heard of this problem before relating to supermarket fuel
  9. The latest single handlebar models are a joy to use and really pick up in all conditions. Bought the wife a MB650.3V for her birthday, nust say she was expecting something gold instead!!!!
  10. We had 30 in stock at one point, about 8 at the moment, good simple old mower, spent first 3 years of my working life following one
  11. I reckon if you put it on Ebay it would manage £150 so the seller isn't far out. A carb kit may well sort
  12. Take it out, try it again, when it starts to play up, loosen the fuel cap whilst it is still ticking over. If you hear it pick up, its possibly a blocked tank vent. Also try a factory reset procedure
  13. I doubt its anything to do with Kawasaki, I have never seen a Kawasaki chainsaw nor any engine in the 60ccplus bracket
  14. The old model 0-135 ran out some time ago, the new one 0-145 has a delivery date of 23rd May into UK
  15. See how you get on for bits for it first
