1. Just a point that you have at least 10 or so people saying they would attend an event in Inverness yet you suggest somewhere a lot further south. But yes very central to those places.
2. I and at least one employee would be keen for the 3998 and the risk assessment one. Why Pitlochry? Still over 2hrs away, much better but why not inverness at the college ?
3. Do you have any pics ? Where is it located? Is it static or flexible ? It would be depending on different factors. Correctly fitted to modern knowledge/standards, any decay or faults. Like you say inspect and make a judgments
4. I feel this to be a serious cop out statement. A course to encourage people to join the assosiation that clearly doesn’t care for its Scottish members isn’t going to be well attended. I think there needs to be proper response and a commitment to run some proper courses.
5. That would be nearly two years in a row without a single course in Scotland, absolute joke.
6. Fine day for it
7. Hi Amy, I’ve been on this to the AA for years and get the same story back that there’s nothing they can do. They don’t get enough uptake on courses to justify running them. I would have 2 guys that would go to most courses run up here.
8. While trying to make a fugly Hedge look nice with a pole saw, I was walking along the top of a customers stick shed. Took the next step onto the top of a big barrel and fell through the rotten lid. It was full diesel, will never get the smell out of them.
9. Dismantled an old Scotty with Cauliflower fungus
10. Ach a wee going over with the blower and they’ll be fine.
11. Just under 3 ton and all burr
12. Big Elm Removed in balmy conditions
13. See you there
14. A nice drop zone yesterday
15. I deployed to Dominica with DART for two weeks to help after hurricane Maria. The island has biblical levels of destruction, by far the worst I have ever seen in my travels. We managed to clear the roads of windblown to allow aid to get through.
16. http://www.igus.co.uk/energychains
17. It was a cracked head, new head on last week and she's back on the road
18. Yeah I'd stick to the tree Austria, I'll be going back to it. Constantly needs adjusting as it slips all the time. Been climbing pretty much every day on it for 6months now. Actually replaced the bridge with a tree Austria one. Every harness is different for every person just a case of finding the one that suits you sir.

Bracing

Can you send me the chaps details please, would love to do that course
20. Yellow one ?
21. Meh, not overly enamoured, I won't buy it again. It is really lightweight but the straps slip and need re adjusting all the time. You do get nipped if you over reach to the left or right. I preferred my tree Austria
22. These are strangely my favourite jobs, what do you use ?
23. That's true for HIS but strathbogies has plenty climbing/rigging, pruning and proper arb kit. Will also order anything you need
24. I think this might be a record for me, 25 in total !
