1. I don't know why would mixing make a difference?
2. Changed airflow sensor, pressure tested and block tested
3. 2.4 I get that speed down hill with the wind of course
4. I have a 10 plate 110, only 20k on the clock. If I drive at or over 50k for more than 40 mins the coolant spurts out the overflow, the temp gauge shoots up and it goes into a limp mode. After 2 mins temp gauge goes back down again. Been into 2 different land rover garages that can't find anything wrong. Does anyone have any ideas or help
5. I've always wondered if those lifting eyes on chippers actual worked. One way to find out
6. Me too, we kinda have a reputation for doing the abstract jobs, however this is the first one to involve a wet suit.
7. Flood elevation project, remove the trees so they don't get jammed and bring down bridges in floods
8. Most comfy lightweight boots, shockingly bad quality, side seals have gone in 4 months in the last 3 pairs I've had. Each time I've complained I got told that I must have used them in a way they weren't meant to be !!!!!! What on my hands !! I keep buying them tho cause there so comfy.
9. Winching some storm damaged Chestnut out of the river.
10. Got a reply from Courant saying they are sending me a new bridge as they updated the materials in 2017 and they recommend replacing them at the first sight of the slightest wear. Won't be using there bridges again have fitted the tree Austria one
11. Yeah the stress was on the old bridge and no noticeable difference. To be fair that back up setup looks considerable stronger than the bailer twine bridge
12. Yeah that's the usual claim from manufactures " you must have been using it wrong or in a way unintended". No just normal climbing. I've backed it up with a tape slung to finish today but all the pressure is on those bits of string and there still holding to be fair
13. It's very light, an minimalistic, given the bridge failure and the way the adjusting loops come loose at the end of each day I wouldn't recommend it. Tree Austria is a better harness
14. No defo no knicks or cuts, the outer sleeve looks squashed where the ring sits
15. Bought this harness about 6 months ago. It's used most days, came down for lunch and when I went to put it back on it was like this !
16. Yeah the last companies that attempted it broke 3 lines and a boy chopped his fingers up. He's at bartletts now. Big cheese consultant
17. Of course, hahaha nah turned it down a few times though, I live right by it looks like it's needing done again soon.
18. That's a good way to use up all those ones I knock down
19. We wire up most yews to prevent snow damage
20. Had a quote recently for a chipper respray and it was £1500 ish. They have to take it apart spray and rebuild hence the high cost
