  1. Haha! No money here mate.... just tourists who support the caravaning and local? supermarket industry.
  2. The Cowshed in Bristol was delicious, all positive remarks from everyone on our table of food critics!.... Cowshed Restaurants - Home
  3. Following doing my CS31 I have learnt how to aim a tree in the right direction and as if by magic I could move said tree much closer to their window. Hope this helps
  4. Agreed ~ but it does represent the Arbtalk population at large.
  5. I'm not sure?? Maybe it's the VAT that kills it?
  6. Me too. My single axle Anssems is 1200kg gross but the running gear is designed for over 1600kg.
  7. I tried finding a dropside Humbaur trailer for sale in the UK but nobody stocked them. I think it's an import tax problem that makes it too expensive for the UK. The payload on them is generally much higher when compared with Ifors. I found a used Anssems eventually & it's superb. If you buy a Humbaur you'd probably be able to get a very good used price for it when/if you come to sell it..
  8. So far.... Looks like it's gonna be an SNP & Green Party coalition! Total votes = 2
  9. Should be interesting!.... please be honest and only vote once. cheers, steve
  10. I did my CS30/31 not long ago. Officially I think you may need official PPE gloves with chainsaw protection (upper left hand) but if you don't have any maybe ask them in advance if it's okay to wear more comfortable chainsaw gloves, ie just for vibration purposes. cheers, steve
  11. Eco-plug my butt! Utter greenwash!.... ECOPLUG -Enviroment
  12. Is there a law to say fuel duty may only be claimed on road going vehicles? Now, THAT would be something!
  13. That takes some beating!
  14. I'd say the standard Husky 15" bar feels nicely balanced on my 550xpg and when it needs replacing I'll go for a solid Sugi bar. I've also got a Sugi Light Pro 18" (there's more weight savings on longer bars), but I've not used it yet. Cheers, steve
  15. I've been wearing Buffs for years. I got given a bunch for free when I was helping an inventor/ friend. He made a swing called a G-Board and Buff were one of the sponsors. Buff could do well to advertise on Arbtalk.... a very useful and under-rated bit of clothing. Cheers, Steve
  16. Very windy here in South West Wales tonight - weather warnings are in force.
  17. Everything we buy has some kind of environmental impact - isn't ignoring the facts a big part of the problem?....
  18. Nissan nv200 is very good on mpg.
  19. Usually drink tea - but for the work flask I use instant coffee & highly recommend the Lidl fair trade.
  20. ...and infinity is never ending.
  21. Who is Jeremy Clarkson?
  22. Hi, we're close to Haverfordwest and have been considering turning all the paths between our beds (currently grass) into thick mulch paths. I was planning to use chip from our own woods but that seems a bit crazy if you're dumping loads. Is all the mulch chemical free, ie not mixed with any treated wood? cheers, steve
  23. There's a 9t one on Arbtrader at the moment... Timber trailer ArbTrader Arborists Classifieds
