1. Before you spend £hundreds check out 'Rocket Mass Heaters'.
2.
For an order.... spoke to someone on the phone today and for some reason you don't seem to be getting my emails.

3.
Hello Mr Jones, did you get my email okay? cheers, SteveA

4. Thinking of getting these but not sure if i need the longer leg, and haven't seen any leg measurements mentioned. Any of you got the long leg version?
5. Hey Sasha, have you thought about trying an Austrian scythe? They are a joy to use and without the expense, noise or fumes of a brush cutter. Cheers, steve
6. Cheers, the 550xp is 50cc so should be good ....but also considering the Sugihara 18" light type pro. hmmm
7. From the photos I think i know why the soles of the boots have been wearing the way they have; too many attempts at Michael Jackson moonwalking.
8. No need to Kiln kill spores, I believe Monsanto do a pretty good job at killing everything off in the outdoor environment. (But don't quote me on that for fear of being awarded more arbtalk naughty points!) note: And I haven't used any swear words i this comment..... or mentioned a certain Secretary of State for the Environment. Peace n Love to all. x
9. Arbtrader is great for that sort of thing - more of us should be using it, even for small stuff. So yeah, Post it in Arbtrader ArbTrader Arborists Classifieds
10. Fiskars X27 is cheap and works brilliantly; or alternatively a Gransfors splitting maul (if you have a fat wallet).
11. Spore free eh?! Ridiculous comment.
12. Certainly seems reasonably priced - about £80 for the pole + £35ish for the curved saw
13. That's all his cats lives gone in one!

Tanaka saw

Will be interesting to find out your Tanaka wood cutting thoughts - the 50cc price looks pretty high when compared to Husky 50cc, so the less money thing doesnt apply for the whole range.
15. What's the narrowest kerf option to suit a 550xp. Looking for 18".... Oregon or Sugihara, or other?
16. Knowing how good & reasonably priced Fiskars tends to be; is anyone here using the Fiskars telescopic curved pole saw?.... Fiskars Curved Saw Could this be a cheaper alternative to Silky?
17. As far as advertising goes.... the advert is working very well. Everyone is talking about it and the word "Sugihara" is being implanted deep into your mind. When you go to bed "Sugi hara" will be there, somewhere in your mind. ...and in the morning when you make your "Yorkshire Tea" or "Nescafe" coffee you'll sit down to eat your "Ready Brek" or "Kellogs" cornflakes and after a few spoons you'll be thinking of "Sugi Hara" again. Every little Sugi Hara star helps.
18. Aye, found it thanks. There are associated comments through the thread as well.
19. Oh! My sorry... didn't know there was a report post feature! Looking for it now..... cheers
20. ....whilst on another thread there are comments referring to the abuse of women, still not been deleted; Quote "I like to treat my equipment how I treat my women and slap them around a bit." Where is the moral line drawn on Arbtalk?
21. Not arb related but pretty cool:
22. Doobin, I was interested in the thread title "What ground saw is best these days?" ...because I'm looking at getting a ground saw. I didn't expect to be reading comments referring to the abuse of women, and I won't be going into any "why the hell" details.
23. ha ha! should have added in the small print that the X27 doesnt cure all ills...i was working on the 'every little helps' motto.
24. Not something I or others want to be reading. Certain comments should be removed from this thread.
