  2. Yeah I love em, just think the ali would last a life time, but at my age these will do.
  3. I would go aluminum , had mine 5/6 years and pretty worn on the bottom.you can spend all day on them with out even noing. And just like yours mark , my straps have had it, and I couldnt find any . Sorted now.
  4. Just strange i've never had any thing from them before, can't remembering signing up , then 3 at once .
  5. This is strange because I got 3 emails from them today and have never had anything before.
  6. I wear both , woodwalkers for the winter, I find the airstreams to cold, both are a great boot. The woodwalkers last me about a year, i tend to wear the toe caps out ( just my way of climbing) where as this hasn't happened on the airstreams, apart from the soles getting a bit thin there's loads of life left in them. So for longevity it's got to be the airstreams.
  7. I will tell her in doors, because I do like them.
  8. Right I bought a pair of strauss trousers about 2 months ago, they're a smart looking pair of trousers no doubt, I did have to un stitch the combi spanner holder on the leg to get rid of the length of plastic inside, when they're washed the cut protection inside crumples up and doesn't hang straight, they have a bum patch like the sips, but where this is stictched it's so close to the edge of the material it's all started to fray. But for £100 they're worth a punt.
  9. Got to agree:thumbdown:
  10. 1 x ms 150 2 x 200 1 x 260 1 x 440 1 x 660 1 x 084
  11. 10% deposit on tpo/con area work prrior to app, goes in local rag/ internet and you get certain people ringing client offering to beat any quote.
  12. That is what burrs look like,
  13. A pack of files will do the job.....
  14. Just because you only do weekend work it doesn't mean you shouldnt have public liability, what if something goes horribly wrong. Ahh I forgot it won't because it's the weekend, really for the sake of £200 you can get £1 mill cover for a year. It's not alot for that peace of mind. For £400 you'll get 1 mill and and 10 grands worth of plant cover.......
  15. So where did you learn that, did you go on a course, something I'd like to learn...........they look pukka.
  16. Where's the best place to get a hitch hiker from, been using the wrench for a while now, and just can't help thinking that the hitch hiker would tend better while ascending, looks more compact and wouldtake less dressing than the wrench if you know what I mean.
  17. What happened to the vermeer you bought not so long ago ??
  18. Rope wrench and the usual pantin, hand acsender , considering trying the hitch hiker, I like the sound of it more compact, we'll see........
  19. Hi I'm getting on a bit myself now (42) and i've just started using srt a few months back, sometimes I love it others not. Worth ago nothing to loose. Shame you're not closer.
  20. I found a peeled prawn up a big old pine.
  21. Agreed and I do have a carbon monoxide alarm and will be getting the chimmney swept regularly.
  22. Put my stove in2 years ago (morso squirrel) I have it burning constant throughout winter, fill her up of an evening, then a rake of the embers in the morning and of she goes. I didn't get it swept the first year then just as we were coming to the end of the second season the stove stopped drawing and was just filling the room up with smoke.when I got the chimmney sweep out, he had to force the brush out the top he said it was virtually blocked up there.ive only been burning ash and beech, but I suppose closing it right up at night just doesn't burn efficiently enough and you really tar up the chimmney.
  23. Yes morso squirrel great stove, and what a great find , the customer had put it out in the garden a year before I came across it , and it was in a right state and she was more than happy for me to take it .
  24. No need its got a ash pan in the bottom. Really is a great little stove. Found it in a customers garden all rusty. Gave it a good clean up and it's beautiful now.
