  1. very true again. it sometimes makes a joke of why they employ qualified people
  2. that is ture, unfortunately as theses are highway trees, they have to be removed. I don't always agree with this, but I get over ruled.

  11. Morning all Found this today on a ash tree approx 1m from ground on the stem. Nor sure what it is. Throught was polyporous but on a closer look it's not. It has gill's underneath. As always any help is always much appreciated.

  18. hi all Just looking for some info on recording CPD hours/points. Do people record hours or points or both?, I seen the AA record which is based on hours. is there standard which people follow for awarding points? many thanks for you help tree
  19. Hi there I did the old tech cert as distance learning, I know the L4 is completely different now as mine was based on exams. I found it hard but I did pass it. The hardest thing I found was making time to study, very easy not to stay focused. good luck tree

  21. I've done fair few to Unroll all the poly 1st, if u have a small tower that would be useful. Keep pulling the poly over the hoops, depending on the type of tunnel you can rest a ladder on the spacers or on the hoops. Some people tie ropes on to the poly but not had much look with that. Once you've got a few hoops over it pulls easer. Have you put anti hot spot tape on the hoops?
