dont you mean when the mortgage was 3x? my nephew has just built his own home without a mortgage at 23, it can be done

if planning was removed do you think developers would build cob houses or concrete shoeboxes?

i understand he has been told to knock it down? if your happy for this to be built you must also allow slums to be built in your neighborhood, no difference i have had run ins with planning but still think it is there for the right reasons if you want to own a property you have to work for it

i used to do firewood in york before i moved, aim for bagged logs they tend to sell well, for timber i used to offer a free place to dump to the garden maintenance companies, also off the council but tell them what you want otherwise they will dump rubbish

my cousin is a architect, built his own home, highly insulated with a ground source heat pump and worked fine until march this year when it got cold again, the problem was they had taken all the heat out of the ground:lol:

i use 30 cubes per year sept-may approx, all offcuts/waste, next doors heating oil bill was 3.5k last year!
