  1. it will still be run by westminster regardless, as all sovereign states are
  2. scotland if it is a yes vote will hand more power to Westminster and scotland will have no say, i wonder who the crown will appoint to govern?
  3. i wonder what will happen to the 30000 scots that work directly for the uk gov? snp haven't come up with a plan yet? with Russian subs been in the moray firth twice in the last 12 months i wonder how scotland would cope?
  4. having lived in a sovereign state where your laws and courts are based in london, i can not see any reason to vote yes for this, the travel visas and work permits required are bad. nobody on the yes side has stated how they will get spain onside? there will be no Scottish bank notes come a yes vote, so problem solved:laugh1:
  5. it would be worth the gamble:thumbup: but thats not what the vote is for:laugh1: scotland would also lose its higher court as with other sovereign states that is based in london and controlled by uk law:lol:
  6. is scotland keeping the queen yes or no? it even states on the snp website that the outcome would be a sovereign state
  7. if it is a yes vote that is what scotland would become:001_rolleyes: also more job losses BBC News - EU law may force RBS and Lloyds to become English
  8. the snp wants to be a sovereign state which are controlled by Westminster, you will end up with no more than a parish council with no power
  9. +1 the territorial waters belong to the crown, that is written in law, scotland own nothing,
  10. its not a Independence vote, its for a sovereign state, the neds cant see that:001_rolleyes: go to your bank with no assets and ask for a loan and also (as mad alex has done) point out that you will default if you dont get your own way let us know the outcome? scotland does not own the oil, its in uk waters interesting to see mad alex's family tree, he is french:001_rolleyes:
  11. well one is a forum member selling at £42.50 per cube:confused1: clearly if you are getting the wood cheaper or free it still make business sense?
  12. the last figures released was £10,088 for Scotland £8,491 for England £10,624 for Northern Ireland per head of population is wales part of the union?
  13. scotland pays £500 per head of more in tax than england but they get back an extra £1600 per head so it is right that they pay more tax but are £1100 per person, per year better off hence no prescription charges, no university tuition fees and free personal care for the elderly
  14. you dont say here you are? but i can buy retail £35 m3 cut and seasoned in the highlands
  15. yes the uk has plenty of oil, scotland has none:001_rolleyes: and its not an independence vote:confused1:
  16. the land will still be owned by the crown administered by westminster
  17. +1 nearly every person i meet in the highlands is either english or polish, very few scots its the Irish scots based in Glasgow seem to be the only people that want this vote its not real independence they are voting for
  18. do keep up:laugh1: the uk is keeping the uk debt which also means the assets, why do you think mad alex wants part of this debt? the uk has supported scotland for the last 300 years you do know referendum is not legally binding? and still no answer how you are going to join the eu? spain will never agree
  19. the test was around £400, spelling is only a tiny part of dyslexia. i was surprised that most people that take the test just cant spell but have been labeled dyslexic.
