  6. Would love to Jon , but every time I look at a husky I break out in a sweat, heart beat goes irregular , then av sleepless night , then at first light I see my 441 and all is well . Mark 441 or 461 the choice is yours.
  7. Try Winchester garden machinery on the A30 about 45 mins from you , got loads of shiny stuff in there .
  8. Looks like I'm in the minority here but 441 for me ,20 an 25 , doesent get used every day but always does the bizz , not to heavy but plenty of grunt, or like Jon said 461
  9. Blackwater d and d hire they used to have the walk behinds in the shop but I didn't see them in there on sat . I hired the ride on As brushcutter from them , but spent more time under the bloody thing ! I've got to pick up a part tommorow so if you want I'll ask the owner if he's got one on fleet or he can get a trial .
  10. I trialled a range of As for the local stihl dealer wasn't over impressed but then I was comparing them to the aforementioned Etesia. Out of the other two I'm with gardenkit on the john Deere , before you buy see if you can get a test drive or hire em out , if you want to try my av51 I'm nr reading mate .
  11. I've used quite a few ride ons and walk behinds including As , but IMO Etesia av 51 with Kawasaki engine the best , goes through v long wet grass,bracken,scrub and just about everything else,also got diff lock an rev . More of a rough cut mower but still leave a decent cut .
  12. Me and a mate had similar crates that a load of Indian stone was in , brilliant for logs ,and with the lids logs stay bone dry

  15. Nice try mate but havin spent a fortune over the years following west ham and national team I've become a tad pessimistic . We'll scrape thru then were knackered sorry

  17. Slipped disc as well just had 3 ibuprofen and 2 bottles of spitfire pushing 50 and it's showing

  19. Arran might be some work on a private estate I work on major oak an beech , could also be rather plush accommodation for a two or three day stint in leafy Hampshire if your interested? I'm an old git so you'll have to get your number to me somehow lol.

  21. Just picked up a very full truck load of oak in my dmax with a chunky lad beside me , would have been two trips if I'd read this first!
  22. From personal exp when you've completed a job and the customers happy let them know you diversify ,now when it's dodgy outside I head inside .
  23. Sorry fella been on the Henry westons after a 12 hr stint should av mentioned I just get cheapest I can find. Back to cider .
  24. Thicker cable for bramble and thicker grasses 2.4 or 3 mm on the lawn for edging up and especially round trees I use 2mm and a lighter strimmer any area of size I stick my rough cut mower on ,lot quicker and can still walk to local later!
