  1. Hi Stephen, Sorry to hear the Hedge cutter has stopped. I am sure it's not Aspen causing the problem. Please give me a call 07568108953 All the best Eddie
  2. Hi, Any dealer can arrange for delivery to you. 54x5 litre can are free delivery and talk to the dealer about discounts Smaller amounts have £20 handling charge 5 litre cans are sold in packs of 3 =15 litres min Great to here so many guys trying Aspen! Remember to sign up to get the Road Fuel Tax of Aspen!!
  3. Hi, As Ray1 rightly says high quality oil is the way forward "quality not quantity!" Aspen2 is ok for all fuel oil mixes in hand held machinery. Please call me on 07568108953 for more information. Kind regards Eddie
  4. Thank you and great to here someone else is giving Aspen a try! Let me know how you get on. All the best. Eddie
  5. Hi Egg, It's a good mower but only for lawn grass as it has a walk behind 6.5hp engine. Not good for long or wet grass because to chute is steep. No rough stuff or you will brake it!!
  6. I see your point, but aspen is made to be pure and dye would add more chemicals to the mix. One sniff and you know it's not pump fuel. Have you signed up to get the Road tax off Aspen??
  7. Great to meet so many Aspen users and have the chance to talk to possible new users! We had a great time thanks to the organisers for putting on a great show! See you all Next years!! The Aspen Team.
  8. Hi, I am hoping to have hand outs printed in time for the Arb show this Friday. Also as I talk to dealers I tell them about it and send them the link. Most of all we need your support. I am sure there are more than 192 people on Arb Talk that do and would use Aspen fuel. Thank you to all who have signed up so far.
  9. Hi, Aspen fuel will not degrade for 3-5 years even if the can is opened. After this time the fuel will start to degrade. Most small engine manufactures advice that pump fuel older than 30 days is not used. If Aspen is kept is a sealed metal can it will keep for 10 years plus. Please contact me for more information 07568108953 or [email protected] All the best Eddie
  10. Hi Gray, They are very high quality, as Barrie says he has used his hundreds of times and it's still 100% ok. If you want to see one come find me at one of the many shows this your or see your local dealer as they should have them in stock. Give one a try and let me know what you think! Kind regards Eddie
  11. We are just seeing what interest there is in the 25litres If we import the standard Aspen 25 litre it will be the same cost as 5x5 litre can's. We are looking into a cheaper way to get you guys the fuel you want. Being a small company means we can listen to our customers. We are always here for help and advice. Eddie
  12. Hi all, Would a metal 25 litre drum with a pouring spout be of interest? Let me know.
  13. Hi John, Hope the weather is ok for us all! See you at the Arb Show!!
  14. Hi IC, I understand what you mean that switching to Aspen will not save the world and compared to other sources of pollution the use of chainsaws only produce a tiny amount of emissions. The point is your exposure to Benzene and the other 100 plus toxic chemicals contained in normal pump petrol. If you can smell the exhaust of your saw then you are breathing in toxic fumes. Have you tried Aspen? For a fair test a machine that has used normal fuel and 2-stroke oil needs 2-3 tanks of aspen to burn off the old oil in the exhaust and give you the much nicer cleaner exhaust from Aspen. If you ever use a saw in a confined area or hedge cutter you will notice the difference with the first tank. Eddie
  15. Hi, This is the first I have herd of A FillPartner failing. Did you ever use it for normal petrol? The 5 litres have to be made from this type of plastic to be recyclable. Please PM me All the best Eddie
  16. Hi, The seals have failed in the box. Used to be able to send them back to Countax for a rebuild but you would have to check. Some gearboxes are not made anymore so you will need a new box and a fitting kit. Phone Countax tec as they are great guys and know their stuff. Good luck
  17. Hi Morten, Have you tried the FillPartner on the 5litre can? https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/7BEqf6AO8D1Twe0SJ7Hmb1eIFVyI6JNCbeX7cGSR_aa3JaJ1RspkUGV10uqjiPSRsshQdg=s190 https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/l_vHVVpsUwXsu03g8PoQ3qQP1_8kpojUap6sAvfavd5tAO70jxORJQeSY4b9OktP1mmp8A=s190 Would there be a market for the 25 litre in the UK if the cost of the fuel was cheaper than 5x 5litre cans? Please let me know.
  18. Hi Agi, Great news that you're going to give Aspen a go! I feel everyone should try Aspen to see for themselves what a difference it makes. Most dealers stock the 1 litre bottles so it's only a fiver to try it! Please let me know how you get on with Aspen and please call me if you have any questions 07568 108953 or email [email protected]
  19. Hi all, Aspen is sold in 25 litres in Europe but the cost of the fuel is the same as 5x5 litre can's and a 25 litre is harder to pour. One of the many advantages of Aspen is clean can's every time and pouring straight from the can to the fuel tank so less chance of contamination and so improved reliability of equipment. As TGB says all Aspen cans are made from recyclable plastics and so can go in house hold or commercial recycling when empty. The 5 litre can are made of the same plastic as milk bottles. 20. Hi, We have also had disappointing responses from official bodies. I have contacted the Minister's for forestry for England, Wales & Scotland and started talks with them. Please if everyone contacts their MP or the forestry Ministers we have more chance of getting this 58p per litre Road fuel Tax taken of cleaner off road fuels. Making them more affordable for all. Thanks for your support. Eddie
  21. Hi, In the UK the sales of Aspen are not of a high enough volume to justify considering selling Aspen from the pump at this time. We have a hard enough job getting dealers to stock Aspen in can's. Just think of the cost of installing tanks, pumps and all the insurance/ licences that would be need. Tankers used to transport normal petrol have to be washed out before clean Aspen can go in them and then washed again to transport normal petrol as they are different fuels. With the entry of other brands of premixed petrol there is more pressure to get the road fuel duty removed from cleaner off road fuels. Making Aspen is more costly due to the processes to make it and the low volume sales compared to normal car petrol. Please sign the petition to get the road tax taken off cleaner fuels. http://www.change.org/en-GB/petitions/government-uk-abolish-road-fuel-duty-on-garden-power-tool-specific-alkylate-petrols-designed-to-protect-users-from-harmful-emissions Thank you for your support. All the best Eddie
  22. Hi, If your saws have run pump fuel you may find that your engine idles slower when running Aspen. Just adjust the LA screw to get idle speed back to factory spec. Also you may need to adjust the Low speed L screw out 1/8 of a turn to give you better acceleration. Please give me a call if you have any questions 07568 108953 or email [email protected]
  23. Hi, I will be along to see you soon. Keep up the great work!! All the best Eddie
  24. Hi Gary, I am very happy to talk about the benefits of Aspen but for pricing you need to contact your local dealer. See our dealer map or give me your post code. Look forward to meeting you at the show. all the best Eddie
