  1. PA1 PA6 if you are using it in a public place and being paid to do the job. but you would not get the stuff or gun without showing your certificates or giving number over phone. joe public would not get it. well not from a good suplier
  2. that is how i thought it was as i had to do both as for stem injection did not know it came ready mixed i thought you had to fill the cartridge up then inject i stand corrected
  3. have a honda i got from recycling yard with roller for a tenner just tinkered and it goes brill cuts cracking stripes and just got a mountfield with a extended rear roller £10 again and that cuts a dream better than the honda. so go and have a look down the recycling yard see if you can pick up a bargain
  4. thats the trouble when you get to big even for your own boots. and what you say is what will happen. well the customer at the end of day holds the purse strings and if you want to pee them off then do what sthil have done. the other makes must be thinking they have won the lottery. lets hope they do not get to big. going to saltex love to see sthil faces when they get a grilling.
  5. yes have cab glass coming to replace ouch £200 for door glass. still thats life. in all the time be using them first bit of glass to get broken in 6 plus years. normally light gets it. thanks for info much apreciated
  6. out of interest what website builder did you use need a website and yours looks good. tried a few but gave up as to complicated or cost a earth to register
  7. help had a accident and have taken door window out of digger. i know its a long shot but has anyone got a door they like to sell.
  8. as Dorset has said cut 2/3rds through stem. what you need is a good side axe that is sharp. depending on the size of trunk then x by 3 to start your pleach so if its 6inche round then start cut 18inches up. you need with a saw to cut down at a angle still leaving a third of timber. but when you get 3 inches from bottom use the axe. the saw will cut against grain the axe will go with grain by cutting down with axe and a extra person helping with stem. you should be able to twist the axe handle as a lever and the tree should lower down slowly on its own with help. if its cracks you have not cut through enough. were abouts in country are you. it would help may be a cutter who may be willing to show you the ropes to get you going. i am happy to show you if you are near by
  9. i am getting asked to clean more play area,s which have wetpour. now they have moss growing on it or algae in the little cracks. now pressure washer if get to near it starts to mark. any brill ideas to get the moss and algae to come off so i can you pressure washer to wash off. tried a stiff brush not a lot of good. i know someone will know the way to do it.
  10. it looks good but as other posts the back is to small to get anything in plus the wheel arches will collect rubbish like its going out of fashion. the tool part solid doors you can open and light fingers can not the roller shutters good jimy you be in and gear gone. plus you need room to get a strimmer in or pole saw. i would base it on a 130 has a bigger back and the passenger bit wil be bigger so can get tools in. i would have a tipper on it. pain having to shovel out of back. if tipper scissor lift with hydraulic ram. the roof rack ok for putting ladders and like on. would have a ladder rack on the tipper part so you can put long bits on and rope down. plenty of hooks to tie things down my truck i wish i had some hooks to tie things down. and i would have the chassis shot blasted and galved to stop it going rusty. just my views on what i look for in a truck.
  11. matt the pictures you take you could make a living selling them they are cracking pictures. people wold pay to have some of your pictures on there walls. and the last one if that was put in the countryfile comp you win it hands down. your in the wrong job but not as you see these things and get some cracking pictures.
  12. dorset looks a bit of a old dog there is a chap up in shafstbury going out towards warminster just past the builders merchants who has some tidy tractors. if i had known you were looking would have let you know about west meon a cracking little JD7610 was auctioned at west meon went for about £1200. plus a few others for sale. keep my eyes out know a db boy see if he has one for sale
  13. had a dr what a beast would cut through most things so easy to use. have a honda one to go and get saves so much time over using a normal one and the string is as big as a pencil so does not break as quick. go and get one. but not cheap new. DR are very good and hayter do one. the one i am getting is a echo with honda engine. looking at £600 plus new.
  14. hydraulic oil is nasty stuff it burns if it gets on you. hate having to do anything with hydraulics.
  15. makes mine look like hampton court. what a job but when done will look good. still i have got as much wood by old field shelter to clear. as want to use as beer tent. will be busy cutting all that up
  16. will try and get some surgrow and see if it will green up. my goal is in the Autumn to spray it off so kill the lot. then cultivate. then go over with stone burier. and then put a good grass seed mix with wildflowers. and leave it to get going. then in spring should be growing and can give it a cut with mulching mower. and then try and look after it. have restored other parts and starting to look good now. as for mulching it is so bad with stones at present i am not putting my mulching mower on it just kills the blades. keep clearing the stones but still keep coming back. hence use a old walk behind that can get its blade knackered as only a tenner for a new one. plus it keeps me fit for a afternoon walking behind it
  17. +1 thats the bottom line if drax will pay for it they will ship it. but with the amount of chip and other wood by products in this country why are we not using uk stuff bet its the wrong type hence importing it. its mad
  18. had a old boy god rest who used old engine oil in his saws it stank, the bar and chain did not last long. and as other posts all its goodness has gone its got metal in it its thin unlike proper chain oil which is sticky so does what it should sticks to bar and chain to lubricate. will never use anything else other than proper chain oil. its counter productive cost more in the end
  19. <p>be interested in calne in September. well sparsholt had 11000 visitors lucky if we saw a 1000 to far from main events going on and not signposted very well. had some interest more re training and waiting to see if we can run at sparsholt but cogs turn slow. so if its this year do not know. is melplash still a goer like to go to that one if its ok son in law on mend still has a good 3 weeks before he can go back to work. made him secretary doing all the paperwork. looks good in a skirt speak to you soon</p>

  20. thank you for info will try and get some nitrate and some non rye grass mixture. will get some photos now and after see how it goes
  21. nothing to mulch. its so short due to years of being grazed. i know start again but thats a good years work. need a quick job to make it look a bit greener.
  22. +1 yes read the same i am with sky and there ok unlimited broadband tv phone aprox £35 a month.
  23. i have about 1/2 acre which we kept the horse and ponie on with the other paddocks. now there gone to rest want to get it back to a lawn again. now its compacted. but under the surface it is full of stones. tried once before breaking the surface up and it brought up loads of stones. now i have left it alone until it started to get some growth but not good loads of weeds. so i cut it last weekend with walk behind and picked up all that was cut. i then went over with ride on pulling a spiker to spike the ground. any good idears to get the grass back. if it comes to it then in autumn will get a cultivator with a stone burier and redo. just want to try and get the grass to spread so it looks green not a pale colour at moment. have a do in 3 weeks on it so want it to look better than it is now. thought of weed and feed but due to it being like it is though i may waste my money doing it. any suggestions apreciated
  24. you can be whoever you like as long as someone near you does not have same or similar. as for HMRC you just have a bank acount with your name trading as whatever. your accountant just logs that with HMRC jobs done. as for ltd becomes expensive has to lodged with companies house books have to be spot on. so cost more for accountant. books have to be submitted on time or penalty's incur. if you can stay sole trading until you are turning over a lot. your accountant will advise when to do this. only other benefit is as ltd its the business that liable not you so if you did run into trouble can only take the company's assets not yours. so house is safe along with any private stuff.
  25. +1 so sad that a bit of bird poo will not alow them to nest they can nest a much as they like on my bungalow maybe i will have to put up some mud pans for them in wood shed.
