  2. don't know of any sites for chip but I can take any wood - can collect evenings and weekends Trev
  3. Class is now owned by Kubota allegedly
  4. pump is way too big for the engine, max size of pump for 8hp engine running @ 2500 rpm to give 150 bar pressure is 8cc
  5. hi what you looking for? road towable? if so what speed towing. or static you say150l/m at what pressure? load sensed pump? when you looking @ delivery for? I can look into specs of what is possible, we built some before for the docks as back up if electricity fails so they can still use lock gates
  6. there is a very good tracker available at reasonable costs you can even fit one version that has been designed for trailers etc with no battery. Your local ag dealers should be marketing it. Or arb dealers if they have an account with Kramp. Kramp are the sole uk distributors for the Farm Alert trackers, there is all sorts of different possibilities for the fitting. I do have the costings for them at work but can't remember them at present.
  7. as said earlier in thread will get fuel to start with but can't keep up, back off then pressure builds up and away you go again. Always start at the beginning of the fuel flow and work through the system.
  8. fit new diesel filter and clean out the filter in the lift pump. should of been first things to do.
  9. I will watch out for it coming up the river 30yds from my house if I get any pics I will update the post. If it is going by sea to Cottam then it gotta go past here
  10. Thats what I meant, boss's son was in same year at school and he is ok didn't have to take trailer test because of when he passed his test even though 6 months later he got his licence suspended due to medical reasons
  11. lad at work got done for towing a trailer, his licence did not cover him for it because of his age. £60 statutory fine and test for towing a trailer above 750Kg
  12. usual 135 problem, cheap fix I remember right pump can be extracted without splitting cheap as chips to repair
  13. Not relevant anymore, only for farmers they get special dispensation.
  14. I know someone who lent his trailer out and the person towing it got a £60 fine for not displaying the correct number plate. The only ones who can get away with it legit are farmers.
  15. I would think both of those have an account with Kramp, both well known names in the ag industry.
  16. I know what the Kramp rrp price is but they are trade only you will need to speak with your local ag dealer ask them if they have an account with Kramp, most ag dealers do. If not I can find your local dealer if you send me your postcode.
  17. Farm Alert have a look at the range these do, very low overheads
  18. spotted that was a Reno from first pic, fantastic MWM engine they had. We were Reno agents where I work. I remember one gearbox failure in particular when I was on holiday got back to work and apprentice had stripped gearbox out with boss then tried stripping gearbox down they spent longer trying to get one gear off shaft than rest of strip down, I walked in and had gear off shaft within 1 min turned to boss and asked him what he been p*****g about at all week
  19. look like they are probably 5 stud 140 pcd Alan Glen is your man at Watts to speak to or as it is now known Trelleborg you can always check the pcd using WHEELS. PCD, offset, and centre spigot diameter
  20. Welds are crap and they missed one weld. They had too much heat in weld and to compensate they used a fast forward speed. too much heat has created weakness in the HAZ. looks like a case of speed over quality then hope that the galvanizing covers everything up.
  21. had some horse chestnut couple of years ago everyone said no good as firewood. I split it straight from tree within a couple of weeks dried for 8 months burnt lovely. it split so well I could of rebuilt tree in house from the split logs.
  22. That is prob the answer, history behind saw:- neighbour passed it over fence to me in pieces said can you have a look at this please my mate took it to shop as wouldn't cut due to clutch slipping. When he went back to see how they getting on with it they said they knew what was wrong with it but could,t repair it for him as he didn't have a chainsaw ticket. Neighbour took it to work to see if lags in workshop training could repair it (he is a prison officer) they stripped it and couldn,t put it back together. I put it in garage and forgot about it till I needed a lighter saw for cutting firewood re-assembled it but could't figure carb and controls out so went to see my mate , manager of Stihl dealership looked at a new 250 and realised the carb was not from a 250 so he gave me a dead saw from out back said take off what you want and bring back what you don't want. 15mins after getting home saw was running. So yes after 4 years firewood cutting prob ready for a new carb
  23. Trick my dad taught me with clocks, if they won't run in house then put a piece of blotting paper soaked in parrafin inside case amazing how they tend to run from then onwards
