  1. What I was getting at from the very 1st post , is that after seeing the gent giving it a bit of consideration, he thought it was being done purely because we were all right handed never mind up hill down hill. Maybe its just some hedges are wider down this way, but what happens if you have to cut from the other side as well then your the "wrong " side for your hand ... are you not ??????. thats what I was getting at -------------------------- Up hill, down hill, on the level, so long as the "head" is higher than where the tree/plant/shrub etc comes out of the ground, its ment to draw and should be ok. seen plenty where head has died of being lower than base HS sorry mate cant make 23rd .

  6. the Tshirts looked new, what would be the chance of having new shirts just at the same time as being on tv and why not
  7. Was at a contest at weekend, A very well spoken gent with lady in tow, sharing all his hedgelaying knowledge with her. The good lady pointed out the hedge was all going the same way, (a short period of silence) then the gent informed her that if you look at the workers there all right handed, that will be why. Sometimes its best to leave them in there own world, Im sure its safest

  13. well as title states, any left hander hedgers, IM NOT but if you only use 1 glove as much as i do (non billhook hand) do you have a stash of faily unused left gloves. Im sure I had a lot more but got these 1/2 dozen with very light use, just the 1 with small hole, anyone want to swap, there all just the basic welders gloves, other wise there just end up being binned in one of them clear outs that you regret 1 day later got pair of leather mittens as well never used them looks like there War dept, and the old MOD crows foot. Also the thuimb is right down the seem so left or right handers ??, tried them for about 10mins couldnt get on, pm if interested
