  7. Never mind finishing how about the starting, do you clear out whole hedge 1st ? I do it in sections say 20-30-40 feet, all depending on hedge, as at the end of each day I like to have a completed section/length finished
  8. Evening all Looking for tracked chipper hire S/SW Dorset. Will have 200m of hedgelaying brash to get rid of 5-6 inch max dia, dont reckon I can get normal/road going chipper in garden behind L/R I know Sydenhams & Fowlers do chippers but not tracked, anyone else ? havent asked yet but not sure if Knighton would hire out, also whats the track width of said item, I got 8x4 plant trailer (15 inch fixed sides) so could collect thanks & have a good weekend

  16. evening all MS 260 with 15 bar, fully understand type of wood, using full bar length etc etc all make a difference but what should be the rough/average length of time a tank of fuel should last . Say using to it max cutting full bar length thanks
  17. Hi HS 1st yr for Dorset Style to be in it , so we hope to have small team up there, Ive only done 2 others before Stour Head and Sandringham, and went in Devon class then. Did you get second messgae last night Chris ? 1st one sent before finishing it ,trouble with me fingers

    <p>right as I was saying, had 1st in class, 6th yr running .......then was great surprise had OVERALL CHAMP thats 3rd yr running was over the moon. and to see that Dorset has been execpted into the Nationals as well so seeing as Im on a roll were doing the National as well. Done 2 before but jumped in with the Devon Boys in past yrs</p>

  22. Well Saturday weather held of for our small training/taster day on offer , only 5 tipped up, had about 20 last yr , (never mind) but was a good afternoon. Logs cleared by end of play, bit of burning off later to clear the brash. job done ,job satifaction and 5 more people with a interest in hedgelaying
