Well we made it through the night, & after what Wednesday chucked at us, even though wind was in a slightly different direction to wednesday Im sure that was a lot worse last night, things rattling around very surprised to see things still upright..last night power tripped out at 10 came back on this morning at about 6.15,
  2. get this 230 done then the next 270 for this guy is right on the top fully exposed hill 200m high good view all round then Ill be dropping away quickly into a wind tunnel/valley

  7. Just strong winds 1st thing, rain started about 10 ish, water proofs on, stuck with till I could feel it down me back and under me arm pits. plus slippery muddy bank, chain saw in hand or bill hook mmmm safety packed up drying out @ home ... Any one who HAS to go out watch out be safe

  9. Ok heres the office view for the next week or so weather permitting looking West Lyme Regis right in the distance
  10. 8.30 this morning visibility was about 50m with the rain/hail, 9.30ish stopped, then the sun was out till 2 very quick down pour then sunny again. cold n damp again 4c at the moment 20.09hrs
  11. HAMMERING it down, with strong winds, forecast was right but they did say stopped by dinner time and "brighter" this pm for down this way at least

  16. :lol::lol::lol Just for a sheer hoot wondering if to get the kayak out and paddle around the garden hammering down here, got soaked clearing brambles from back of clients fence, even the spaniels wanted to go home
  17. Pouring down, blowing a gale, and got 4th "overnight" puncture in as many weeks:confused1:. mmmmmmm right wheres me wet water proofs
  18. Well done Graham good stuff. we had 1 last weekend in the P...ing rain grabbed a 3rd had a look at scores at the end, was only 2.5 points between top 3.
  19. Car boot special I need all the help I can 15yrs later still rubbish at sharpening chains Surprising it dont get in the way either stays there all hedging season
  20. calm here also, not raining at the moment but big dark rain clouds about , was another wet night
