  1. Is this an easy enough job for a not so mechanically minded person? My 110 td5 pulls away pretty slowly even without trailer! It is one of those heavy ex utility company ones with the hd chassis and a mahoosive roof rack though...
  2. Looks like a postcard! Jealous...
  3. Ash...? Very nice by the way...
  4. Noticed exactly the same on an old beech stump at my yard today, loads of it! And like you say, wasn't there a week ago. I'll take a pic tomorrow...
  5. Sorbus I have been passing the last few days on my way to a job, stopped and took photos as it was my last day in the area. What do we think? Can see the crown has died on the same side as the bracket... .
  6. And cracking umpiring all round...
  7. Yep, Belly is my man of the series! Broad and Harris have been about evens...
  8. But on the other hand if the review does go our way we get two celebrations for the price of one...the second of which is usually ever so slightly more satisfying...
  9. Loads of galls on a rosa I pruned today, just looked through this thread - robins pin cushion gall?
  10. Yep totally agree that it adds to the drama, my problem is it was brought in to prevent "the howler" but because players are using up reviews on a punt or a fair shout and the howlers are still happening! So what do you do? Cricket is a game of small margins and I'm sure that most LBW/nicks etc look like a good shout on the field, especially to the bowler who's giving it everything, every delivery! This is why I love cricket, there's so much going on! TMS on at work again today...after pop master of course😉...
  11. Sorry this post is full of typos but you catch my drift...
  12. But haven't the Aussies dropped their spinner Agar? Obviously relying on smith to take advantage of the foot holes...
  13. DRS is being used the wrong way IMO. I hate the playerS questioning the umpires, before you know it cricket will go the way of kiss all with the playing ranting and swearing at the umpires. It should be down to the off files umpires in the case of the Broad Lbw where umpires call was not the case to say bad call mate, overturn it. Players are now using it to take a punt...that's just not crickets chaps😜...
  14. Pak choi has gone mad- but then I didn't thin it out! There's only so much stir fry one can manage...but the Guinea pigs get a treat...
  15. If the Aussies are playing that well on this pitch, imagine how well England's superior batting line up will do...Ian Bell for a double hundred 😉...
  16. Found these little critters today. They were in an old rockery which we were digging up to lay a new shed base. I had a look through this thread and it seem they are cockchafer grubs... We also found a slow worm but I didn't get a photo😞
  17. I'd be up for that race! Do we both start without wire already loaded, or can I grab a cuppa while you load your spool and then we start together...
  18. Yeah got the Honda 4 stroke too! Was the first thing we bought when starting up 8 years ago, spool wore out pretty quick but replaced it with a flexiblade one and its dead easy. Sure you have to stop when it needs replacing but no winding wire and banging on the floor to get more out. Honda all the way...
  19. What a douchbag...
  20. This one? CS100 Greenmech woodchipper, Palfinger pc801, 4x4 L200 Mitsubishi 04 tipper http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CS100-Greenmech-woodchipper-Palfinger-pc801-4x4-L200-Mitsubishi-04-tipper-/181169177148?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2a2e86423c
  21. I'm going to keep an eye on this, pretty close by. Already got an Eliet prof IV which we've used for a few years without a problem, only thing that gets me is it just dumps the chip straight on the floor. Anybody used one of these...?
  22. That's my new mantra. Now to convince my business partner...who just happens to be my father!!! Yeah right...
  23. I'm ashamed to say that I did not do a test area, just wanted to get her off my back! In retrospect a mistake. I do keep a portfolio but I always forget to do a before photo as I'm just so keen to get there and get cracking. Thanks for comments chaps...
  24. Noticed it just today from ivy...
