  2. thats awefull mate, i think its dam right dangerous to be taking drugs on site full stop weather it be wee,pills or anything. i have never touched drugs whilst working arboriculture 3 years of clean living i only have a few drinks at the weekend and do not drink at all in the week. i know a guy who lives in leeds who might be looking for work if you want pm me and il sort his details out for you. i went to college with the dude hes a good groundie and has his 38 and 39.
  3. i am like you're self quite skinny and i climb on the petzl Sequoya its is really good and available in two sizes, i went for size 1 the smaller of the two and it fits beautifully.

  7. me and my cousin who is also a tree surgeon shall be going for a rec climb on the 9th of Feb weather permitted, we shall be doing this in the west midlands area and would love for you to come along. we both have are own kit ropes helmet and such and are currently looking for a area to climb some big trees and have a fun day out. pm if interested in coming along.

  10. just try as much as you can mate, i have the petzl sequoia and i love it but my secondary climber hates it. its all about personal preference. just dont rush into buying one take your time and make your mind right coz last thing you want is to be stuck with a harness you don't like.

  12. i think with the introduction of the zigzag and aids of such things as the spiderjack the climbing Arborist may change how they work and climb, but i only speak from personal experience that i was taught to climb on the good old prusik and spent allot of time climbing with a Blakes after qualifying. i think to teach climbing ad working in the tree the old way is still one of the best, as climbers advance they will adapt into there own styles and ways. the friction hitch will never die as it is a essential way to learn the basics.
  13. it is still an offense to flee the scene of a accident. that still carrys points and a fine as well as the insurance going up.

  21. i was wondering how well it will do in the wet. guess i will have to try. might just be my spring summer toy then back to hitch climber for wet autumn and winter. see how it goes i guess.
