  3. Hi guys I have just purchased a new stein super plasma climbing helmet, and was asked a question today that I didn't know the answer too. What is the retractable visor like for fogging up. are there any tips/hints or products to help prevent/ stop it if this dose happen. I shall receive mine from the good old fr jones.

  6. Nope not had a climb on ether to be honest, the kern is 11mm.. I'm currently climbing on New England Union 12mm and it's far to stretchy at 60ft plus
  7. I've looked at the cougar blue and tbh for the price I would rather have the Kernmaster. I shall be buying it this weekend from Jonsie along with a few other bits and bobs
  8. Hi guys I'm am just wondering if I could you the Yale Kernmaster for DDRT. I will be eventually changing to SRTWP but wish to use the rope with my hitch climber set up as well as with a rope wrench and pinto. Cheers guys.
  9. Anyone know if I could use the Yale Kernmaster 11mm rope with a hitch climber set up? I will be using it ddrt just until I buy all the stuff to do srtwp.
  10. I have just recently brought a pair I am 32 waist so I got the small, they fit perfect for so if I was you I would go with the larger size as they are quite tight fitting.
  11. Yeah dose depend on the company, I would get a CSCS card just to be sure. I worked in the demolition site of the old derby police station dismantling a tree. Was never asked for my card but did have to attend a 15min health and safety talk on site. Good luck and have fun.
  12. I really like the look of this but it didn't show how to set it up properly on the video, could anybody post a picture or video of how to set it up. I would like to give this a try tomorrow.
  13. Hi guys I have been wondering what setup works best for emergency decent on a pole if anything goes wrong. I usually just go up on my spikes with my strop and main climbing line. But I am wondering what is the best way to secure the line underneath you as a back up if you cut your line or slip out. I know I'm not being to clear but it's hard to explain what I mean. Any help, pictures or videos would be a great help. Cheers

  15. hi guys, i have been trying all morning to buy a pair of Husqvarna Chainsaw Trousers, Technical Type C in small. i have tried ringing around many different company's i have had no such luck. dose anyone one know of anywhere selling them as i need them ASAP preferably before Thursday, this is due to my last trousers meeting the bad end of my chainsaw. any help would be great, thanks

  19. Hi guys, Im currently in the market for a nee pair of trousers. I have narrowed it down to 2 pairs The stihl X-Fit or thr Husquvana technical im also thinking of buying thr jackets as well. Anybody used or still using any of these? Any advice eould be great. Cheers

  22. Hi guys I am I'm the market for a new rope, I have found one I like but it comes with ether a spliced end or Slaiced end. I know what the spliced end is as my current climbing line has one but I have no idea what Slaiced means. Any help would be great also any suggestions on semi static rope would be great. Cheers
  23. thinking of getting a new lid soon. wondering if the Pfanner Protos Integral arborist helmet is any good? Dose anyone in the Leicester or Birmingham area have one i could take a look at or know anywhere i could get one on trial for a week or so just to see if is for me. cheers
  24. yep, falling 30 foot is fine its the last inch that seems to hurt... not that i have ever fell that far or ever want to. i have been dropped off a ladder whilst pruning the lower branch of a lime.
