  1. Rugby 1, football 0. Sorry could not resist. I'm a happy bunny as man u and England won.
  2. The FA etc know its faults which need to be addressed which would encourage more people to watch, but you will never beat the noble art that is rugby.
  3. Hard frost for the last 4 nights, nice clear mornings and sun.
  4. Burner needs to have threaded access for flow and return pipes to be fitted, if you don't have these you can't do it. Please remember if you looking to do this you are utilising hot water under pressure, please seek professional advice to ensure you safety. Good luck.
  5. First class game, so pleased we won, McCaw was ok with the loss, he knows NZ didn't play well and took it on the chin. Lest just hope they can build on this for the 6 nations and not let all go to theire heads. Eng women play now and hey should done NZ. So happy
  6. Looks great,, nice photo's keep it up
  7. Blackbirds ar common !, a. Few years ago it use to be unusual to see many jay's about. This year we have 3 in the garden most days, and the woods were I walk the dog has a few but is swamped with woodpeckers. Anybody seen an increase in the bird population.
  8. O yes coming together, looking nice
  9. Check with the neighbours see if they rent their home and who from, failing that you can go via the land registry on line. Use the map search zoom right in on the address ensuring the cross hairs are right over the property selected, cost £3 and get the title to the property. Sounds a lot of work, but I can normally do it in 5 mins or less.
  10. That will teach him to try and go through flood water in a go kart
  11. I agree, they should approach the HA and ask. Normally trees are dealt with by their Property services department, but sometimes in can be housing management. They should find out first which department, then arrange a site meeting to discuss the issues. Policy may dictate that the ha make their residents responsible for maintaining trees, but it's easier to apply steady pressure on the ha instead of the neighbour. Your friend may which to visit the ha's web site to see if there is any information under tenants responsibilities. For armed and all that.
  12. Sorry to hear that, hope things improve, fingers crossed it won't be to expensive.
  13. Speak to the local planning officer for the area, they are public servants and are there to help, but think carefully don't give to much away, just say your thinking of buying and what would the LA allow. Good luck
  14. Or don't drive through it, what was the need !
  15. You could pass as a Frenchman, keep it to add spice to your marriage, ha
  16. Advertising does work, but only in a small way, local ads just keeps your name in the back of people's minds so they know we're to find you in time of need. Personal I think neat / clean sign written vehicles work well, make sure you stand out. Small signs left at tidy completed jobs works, which should be complemented by hand delivered fliers posted in the area that you are working in. At some point it will all fall in to place, but don't stop trying or get complacent. Good luck.
  17. Would love to have the time to live/work like that. We could do with more in a similar vein, may be visiting companies that undertake small and large forestry management to provide a balanced view. We can but hope.
  18. It was a good programme to a point, could have been made better, but produced on a budget. Informative easy watch, better than x factor etc etc.
  19. 70's porn star, ha, how much have you raised.
  20. Looking back the further I progressed the less I enjoyed my job, although the money was good, but you can't have it both ways unless you are doing something you really enjoy. Stress is always there to a greater or lesser degree, it's how you deal with that counts.
