  7. We just milled up a 7 tonne oak burr for a customer just through and through, he specialises in planks wtc and that's what he wanted the burrs did show in the mudulery ray which looked lovely
  8. Ha ha no I'm sure moat bits would be available from industrial sullpiers, best this is chat with others who have the same mill they will tell you more than any sales rep or website can
  9. Not bad prices are there parts backup good? Aftercare is a big must! Especially when your pushing the mill to it's limits!
  10. Not ultra critical but you do need to get as near as damit, the heDs are set to the bed so should cut as well as there set up, the levelling is more so the motors don't have to work as hard to move up and down the bed, also to have a crane that would lift the size of logs these mills could cut would almost require a seperate trailer! The trailers and heads are designed quite light to help travelling and easy set up so again. Crane would make them a lot heavier to tow around.
  11. Brilliant, keeping everyone in suspense lol
  12. This is how we qtr saw our boards the top and bottom lumps are then re sawn on a smaller mill, notice the medullary ray which is only visible on oak if I'm not mistaken
