  6. Thanks, well lets home in a few years these boards start earning there keep lol. The main advantage of the wm is that we can slab large slabs to re saw on the 40 meaning we can cut a lot more efficiently Copfordsawmill.co.uk Follow us on Facebook too
  7. No we had to cut through the heart so you get boards either side of the heart, we have found these size trees always have bad hearts so by taking boards through the heart we get some beautiful rays Copfordsawmill.co.uk Follow us on Facebook too

  12. Don't varnish it or it might crack too much, that's if it's green, you could rub an oil into it but lightly so that it can dry in situ slowly. Copfordsawmill.co.uk Follow us on Facebook too

  20. Have you cutt the bottom off yet, do you know how sound it is, looks nice from the pictures but could be hiding all sorts. No offence.

  22. We have a load of seasoned air dried ash in 1' 1" and a half that we supply to yurt workers if that's of interest
  23. You'd be surprised we have got 2 artic loads of elm out of Eastbourne to mill for a customer. Been waiting since summer to cut it!
