  1. Haha a zetor, the only tractor with a cab big enough to take the family out at the weekend , used to drive a 2wd model years ago, we found it very reliable
  2. Just a quick update...day 5 of the training is now over and I have accomplished so much more than I thought I would, today I found my self around 85 foot up a tree and branch walking around 8 metres, so pleased with my self If you look closely you can see me at the top...what a view! Can see how it can be so addictive haha
  3. Correct dave and thank you, those words alone are a confidence booster, felt much more comfortable with everything today and was able to actuall climb rather than just hug the stem and try hoist my self up haha, much easier , also realising its not always the best thing to get up tight to a branch when your trying to throw your main line up to advance, the confidence I have gained in my equipment and my ability has enabled me to push back a bit and hold my self off the stem with my feet. Had loads of fun this afternoon trying to pick a tricky route for tom to come and rescue me from haha so been pushing to go where I didn't dare before. Tony is great, he's pushed me well past where my limits were bu iv gained so much confidence just by listening to him. Certainly looking forward to the rest of the week now .
  4. I has no idea, was only going on what he said and it had started sprouting within a week or so of doing it haha
  5. Took down a willow in someone's garden several weeks ago but the tree inspector that gave me the go ahead said I had to leave the stump high to rot down naturally so instead of leaving a plain stump I made a seat with an armrest which he thought was a nice idea, nothing special but better than just a stump sat in the garden.
  6. This is my two little terriers, Oscar and Charlie, For some reason Charlie usually enjoys sitting on my shoulders like a parrot but fancied some where a little higher this evening and proceeded to jump off my shoulder and onto the fridge haha
  7. Some inspiring words guys, cheers for all the support and tony is good, really easy to get on with and he's pushing me past where I'm comfortable and past where is needed for the assessment, really pleased with my progress at present
  8. Monday so not far away at all really, quite convenient being so close as everything is fresh in my head
  9. I'm sure it will, was feeling better at the end of today. I'll let you know about the rec climb on Sunday fella, have to see how my body is feeling after this week haha
  10. Having started my cs38 yesterday I have been up and down several trees and I'm soon realising my confidence isn't quite where I though haha, it's safe to say I have been pooing my self but purely trying to push past it, must admit I am really enjoying it and my instructor says my techniques are very good, just an up hill battle with my nerves but I refuse to give in haha loving every minute of it
  11. Think it may mean the level of your pikachu hahahaha
  12. Certainly will do fella:thumbup1:
  13. Sounds good to me, gonna be wanting every opportunity I can get to build my skill and confidence.
  14. Market Rasen, about 10-15mins drive so nice and close
  15. This is all very constructive and making me feel a bit better haha and I'm doing it at riseholme college in Lincoln
  16. Cheers for that dog tag, have had a crash coarse in climbing but that's it so far, I didn't fair too bad but obviously a long way off the standards required for the assessment
  17. My cs38 coarse sarts tomorrow and although I'm excited and looking forward to it, the nerves are setting in a little does anyone have any pointers for the coarse and ways to overcome the nerves?
  18. Yeah, all depends on your budget, but as stated above 550,560 if you've got the money or 346,357 second hand for half the price
  19. Sadly I am unable to purchase this game due to my female acquaintance...so basically the mrs will not let me have it due to my previous addiction to borderlands 2 haha , she doesn't have to know everything though hahaha
  20. Tidy looking job and in some not so good ground, nice box struts too. That little machine looks handy, we use a tracked knocker and it simply cannot be beaten in my opinion!
  21. I'm not sure if I do or not but I do believe everything has a life force/energy as that that life force/energy can't just disappear into thin air after the physical side ends
  22. have a spare prussic just wasn't in the pic, the line will be okay though wont it? thinking ill try and learn the harder way first then maybe, all being well, buy a petzl zigzag early next year. yeah no probs tom, have tried them on already and they did seem more comfy than yours but im yet to try them in a tree haha
  23. thats my weekend foot ware haha . looking around atm for a kit bag, what would people suggest to put throw line in?
