  1. Me and the wife thought it would be fun to go and play in the local floods, gutted I don't have a landrover but managed to have a play in the seat Leon And that's one of our local pubs almost underwater..good times 👍
  2. Look forward to seeing how it goes mate 👍
  3. Haha thanks mate, don't work for myself but one day..and il hold you too it 😉

  8. How close was it to that truck?ha. 👍
  9. Sign writing on the truck? If your popping to the local wearing your company tshirt or jumper...social media is a great one mate..set up a Facebook page maybe? If you have 100 friends on Facebook and 50 of them like your page they then share it with 50 of there friends ect ect just some ideas
  10. Aswell this is what I would do looking at the pictures and not seeing the tree in person, it's your call mate if your not confident about climbing, you have to maybe look at other routes, crane or mewp if the job allows...
  11. Totally agree, should the tree fail the worst you will get is a Tarzan swing back to the safe tree and maybe have to change your underwear...get a good anchor in the other tree, spike it and remove in it hand held pieces...get it to a hight you can then fell from the ground..if you want to rig is it possible to Set up the rigging line on the safe tree next to it?
  12. Ohhhh, I should of really looked again, in that case £400 for the follow up aswell today would be a fair price 👍
  13. Felix I'm just guessing he didn't clear up because of him saying he's back there today? But if it's taken him 45min to clean up aswell I would still only say £250
  14. Am I totally under estimating jobs here? £400 for a 45 minute job?? Is that not a bit steep...I would charge £250 for that call out, but my guidelines would be that price is to come to site, make the tree safe and waste would be left on site...you then give a price if they want the job cleaned up and if you have to go back the following day...then you charge what ever you normally do eg day rate, half say, hourly rate.... Am I totally off the mark? The way this thread is going please be gentle with me 😉 👍
  15. Well that's another option and well within budget mate and probably the option I will end up taking
