Personal, ladders to get me to the first branch if I can't reach it from the ground, climbing line and working strop...and get climbing...I think throw lines and big shots are great if your going for SRT but other than that it's just a case of getting your harness on and pulling yourself up the thing matey
  2. Tyz the crib was at 15-20ft today, it will be huge next week! Never surfed it myself, haven't got the bottle 😣

  5. Any surfing fans out there? Swell is looking huge for next week!! Constantine on the south west was at 24ft today If your not a surfer, are you on call out over the next few days?
  6. Is there any full time work out there in the above areas? Looking for a larger company to work for... Have been in the game since leaving school (26 now) And had a 4 year break wile I served in the army CS 30,31,38,39 Chipper Chapter 8 Emergency first aid Hgv class 2 (so I can tow a transit and chipper) Currently working for a company doing a lot of hedge work and it's not my thing, happy to be taken on as second climber

Personally I would look to secure a job before leaving...iv never been but looked into it and been offered work...the reason I didn't go was I couldn't fund the flight as it was too short notice but what you will find, a company will help you with your visa, help set up a bank account and help find accommodation mate...alternatively you can do what my cousin and her partner did, saved up 5k between them, landed in NZ, brought a car and traveled bouncing from lodge to lodge untill there money ran out lol

  13. hi guys, probably like many of you, my company i contract for shuts down for 2weeks over the festive period..im looking for some work to fill the gap, live in warwickshire and willing to comute upto 45minutes... nptc 30-39, first aid, chapter 8, and hgv class 2 5 years experience have my own PPE, not sure if the boss will let me have my kit to use else where but im adaptable Let me know cheers

  23. A late Christmas present from the girl friend, nice adjustable strop set up. Marlowe split tail and friction cord. Dmm karabiners and pully. Can't wait to use it tomorrow

  25. so after 4 years serving in the army and a month of leave over xmas, which i enjoyed its was back to work yesterday .... back to what i know and love, all its going well withe new company, havent had the chance to do much climbing but got my groudie to take a quick pic today, nothing to challenging just a small ash to take down but it felt good to be back in my harness
