  8. Hi Rupe The difference in it is a higher spec harness and a longer rope for the climber looking to work on large trees, also the lanyard kit is more advanced, I know of lot of students who wouldn't have a clue how to put it together so we have kept it out of the starter kit, as Le Sanglier said 'lets not run before we can walk'. Oh yeah... and the price
  9. This is a climbing kit we have put together for the starter, as climbers we recognise that pulley systems can confuse a newbie (confused me until the last year and I have been climbing for 18 years) Its a simple prusik loop climbing kit with everything you need to practice climbing, rec climbing and small pruning jobs, its also very reasonably priced Start off with a prussik or split tail and in time work your way up to a 'VT' or spider/lock jack, zigzag2. I'm sure there are stll alot of guys on here still climbing on a prussik. I do now the zigzag has gone back... Starter Climbing Kit - Climbing Kits - Climbing

  16. Hi Pike I mean to existing known professional users on machinery. That 'known professional user' is what this is all about, it no longer exists... Well from Monday Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. Hi Jon I'm not sure lawyers will come into it. Sub dealers still have existing customers that they send parts and PPE out too and no longer will be able to so it will hit them aswell. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. Yes Everyone is going on about the big boys who sell online, there are dealers that have been going for years and don't have a website but believe me they will be doing a lot of mail order through telephone orders, this will affect them exactly the same as companies with websites. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. It's a lot different in my opinion... You can't send anything out to anyone whereas in the past you could send out to known professional users. This is a massive change in the policy, we will be following it strictly from Monday as everyone else should do. I have spoken to Stihl and it is what has been said 'no items sent through the post whatsoever'. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Spot on Si! Love the tree house, could you fit a two year old in there? Could be a little jail for my boy haha!No more naughty step just jail Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Hi. jack, I have just had a look at your spreadsheet and you are about £10 out on the helmet with us? Should be £10 cheaper mate. Haven't really checked the rest. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. What happens if you need to return it.... The costs spiral and you will be better off buying in the UK. It could happen.. I can't see how it can be that much cheaper as the UK price are driven right down, you won't pay rrp in the UK on any saw. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
