  1. Heres a video I made of a an Ash I dismantled last week, watch it in 1080p HD for the best quality. I'm climbing on the new Zigzag, the Zillon (lanyard) and using the Husqvarna T540 xp with 14" bar and then onto a Husqvarna 560xp 20" bar for the trunk. Enjoy and thanks for watching
  2. Haha! Just seen this! I keep re-editing it, just did the final one and that's it no more tinkering, I'll upload it tomo or Friday and put a link on my Facebook page not on here as I will get slaughtered especially with my choice of song! ** starts deleting Dannie Minigue 'kiss me' **
  3. What do you mean it fell apart? In what way?
  4. Its been accepted by youtube, thanks for the help guys!
  5. No it's music from UK bands, I've hear vimeo isn't too bad for allowing music so I'll try that aswell.
  6. Yeah think I'll go down the route of the website once I can get iMovie to let me export it! Nothing's easy these days... Cheers fellas for the info. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. Thanks Steve, i know if they remove the music then everything goes even the original audio, i will upload to facebook first and see if they do anything.

  10. I'm sure Honey Brothers will give you all the info you require about the zigzag, as a climber using one regularly I have to say its a great piece of kit, easy to use, self tends well at a certain height with the right rope and nice and smooth on descent, although you may find it jerky at first until you improve your technique which doesn't take long. 11. Looks good Ed, well done mate.
  12. All gone now claimed for by Gardenmac, thanks for the reply Ian.

  14. Have a look at his answers to the questions on the T540, take a look at the bottom of the page on the 540 listing. Anyone buying from him would be crazy..
  15. The OP was after the best top handle chainsaw, so the Chinese one is defo not the way to go.... It was before Xmas and I'm sure he has one now. Any new tree surgeon out there looking for the best top handle saw should not look at anything other than the Husky T540 or the Stihl MS201T, these are the best and you can easily source parts, chains, etc...
  16. Husqvarna are releasing a new helmet in March - the Forest Technical, looks the part and should retail around £60-£70.
  17. Fair enough on the rope I thought you just meant the actual Zillon to the pulley and VT.
  18. The advantages are it's more compact to cord and a pulley, should last a lifetime whereas cord has to be replaced regularly, you don't have to tend it like a VT (sometimes), it runs smoother than friction cord. It's expensive but it's a quality piece of kit, some tree surgeons use the Grillon as a lanyard now they have the choice of the Zillon too.
  19. The zigzag works better on a smaller diameter when self tending, this won't apply to the zillion. Replacement rope is around £35 depending in the length.
  20. Do you think an oval would suit it better? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Hi Tommy If you use a different rope it will not meet conformity. If you use a Petzl Zillon rope you will meet conformity. The device is tested as a whole not individually, the rope is approx 13mm. It would be upto you if you put your own rope into it but it's not recommended, the Zillon is the same as the Grillon in terms of conformity.
  22. We have the Zillon in stock and ready to go on next day delivery. We are only holding the 4m at the moment as we feel this is the right length for a lanyard. If you want a smaller or longer size please email us and we will put it on our next order with Lyon, we recieve orders daily from them so there wont be a long delay. Petzl Zillon
  23. Sold to you Mark! Thanks for the order! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
