    Hoovers

Our cleaners really rate the Shark vacuum. Not tried one myself, but one of the other lads at work got one because his Dyson was crap and really likes it

    Hoovers

I've got a Stihl hoover. It does everything it should and not let me down. Bags are needed, but I don't see it as a problem. It gets used in the garage and the house. I can't fault it in any way. Just got the new battery hand held vacuum. It's grand for the small bits in the house and the car. I've also got it fixed up to my Dewalt palm sander and it's a perfect match
  3. It's a disgrace! It was a beautiful tree in an outstanding environment. Looking at the cuts I'm pretty sure it wasn't a 16 year old?
  4. Morning. Raining here, but there's a glimpse of blue skies
  5. Not put the heating on yet, still have windows open till it goes dark. The Mrs hasn't complained in the slightest. I can't put the fire on anyway as the chimney is knackered and not got the funds to fix it ATM. Got about 2 ton ready to burn and can't use it 😤
  6. Morning all. Taking the eldest to a dance competition in Nottingham. Oh the joy of parenting!
  7. Yep. Every single one I've sold has been recalled. Not that many as stihl haven't had the stock for supply. Still a good few on order which this has delayed. It's a pretty quick job to do to be honest. Anyone who owns one should of been contacted by the dealership they bought it off in writing. That's if they are following the protocol given by stihl.
  8. Spoke to Pete today he's not heard from him recently. Paul is quite sporadic with his calls. So I don't think there is anything to worry about 👍
  9. He's still in the states as far as I know. He tried ringing me a month or so back, but missed the call due to time differences. Not been able to get in touch due to the same reason probably. I'll try him again soon. He calls @pie eater pete every now and then. Not sure if he's heard anything 👍
  10. Get some with good leather cream/dubbing then put it on them and it will sort them out. I got a cheap pair and put the dubbing on and they were great in the after application

    DHL

This time of year it seems that these firms take alot of new drivers on for the run up to Xmas. We can usually get 3 drivers a day bringing new from dpd alone. Then all of a sudden we're getting six drivers bringing a couple of packages from the same consignment. Had a new driver recently from another firm who kept leaving all the boxes about 3" outside the goods in door, which opens outwards. He wouldn't let anyone know that he'd been and they would be sat there what ever the weather until someone let us know. This was usually another courier as they couldn't get in. Another problem is the amount of stuff we get that has been ordered online. They just see a Stihl or Husqvarna box and presume it's ours, even when the address can be 20 miles away. We've even get other dealerships orders now and then.
  12. Morning all. Currently sat in a hotel feeling feeling rather hung over.
  13. Nothing wrong with charging £4.95 + vat. That's what we charge up to 2kg first class, providing it's not an oversized item then it may go 2nd class. Very small items will be cheaper though. Anything large will go parcel force at £12.95 + vat. We don't do website orders as yet, which makes things easier as it's all over the phone and can tell people direct what costs will be.
  14. Sorry to hear this. Only met him a few times. Sound bloke though. RIP
  15. Just on this tonight
  16. Just need Radmore & Tucker and Sam Turner to start playing ball and the job might be a bit better for the local dealers
  17. Here, present and correct. Life is so much easier now I'm not in the tree game. Selling kit is far more relaxed
  18. As said the people that have bought them have no complaints. We've been selling them a few years now. We use them to get fuel for the workshop which then gets decanted to 5lt cans and they work perfectly 👍
  19. If you send us a message with what you need I can help out. Usually got most stuff in stock
  20. Not cheap 10lt is about £38 + and 20lt is £43 I think
  21. We stock these they seem to work. We've not had any complaints No Glug Fuel Cans - Portek Birdscaring and Agricultural Products PORTEK.CO.UK
  22. Pfanner Nanoshield for the coat. Been out in torrential rain and it's kept me dry. Just need some good trousers now. I will say their not cheap
  23. No problem. You'll probably be doing quite a lot of swearing if you've not done it before, I know I did. Simple job though. Just do as pleasant said and all will be good 👍. The blokes in the workshop gave me some abuse when I first did one.
  24. This should be the one
  25. Distel, Notch, Panther Geckos. All pretty much the same, Panther being the cheapest I believe. And made in the same factory as Distel.
