That's fair enough fella, I'm just over cautious when it comes to head protection as I got epilepsy after having a head injury, so I take head protection seriously. I wasn't having a dig at you as the same has happened to me in the past, but that was with the cheap husky lid's so not as much cost involved. I do apologise if I offended

It might well be, but what if it got a hairline crack you didn't notice? In my opinion it's better to be safe and replace it.
