    550xp or 365

This is gone out of my limited knowledge on saws lol but please feel free to continue lads going to suggest a 365. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app

    550xp or 365

Already have a 550xp. Mate was wondering which saw is more suited to that size firewood cutting. I suggested the 560 too. Personally I'd love a mm'd 372. Someday maybe. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app

    550xp or 365

Thanks for that wyk. Would the difference in the amount of sawed timber be very noticeable at the end of a day? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app

    550xp or 365

Which is faster on softwoods up to 18"? 550xp on a 15" bar & chain in 325 lpx, the 365 on a 18-20" b&c in 3/8 lpx. Standard sprockets etc. Majority is probably 12-15" logs. Thanks for viewing. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. Well wear and safe sawing. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. Rob might be able fix you up. http://Www.chainsawbars.co.uk Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. The oregon one works I think. I use a syringe with a narrow tip. Works a treat. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app

    2014 550 xpg

Run mine on an 18 regularly and it is impressive. However, if i needed an 18" bar all day everyday I'd consider a 560 or preferably a 372xp. The 550xp runs with a 15" like it was made for it. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. 550 Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Sorry about the pics lads lol. I'll try get a better one after I run the saw again. Last user was the old man and he tends to idle the saw before turning off so maybe that's it. Saw is running well besides. 4 strokes nicely at wot. Leave it with me folks. Will have a better pic soon as I can. Thanks though. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. Pulled the plug on the 550xp this eve and though the threads were oily and black the electrode looked white. Opinions welcome. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. Took mine out recently and power increase is minimal but did exist. It is harder on the ears but still sounds good to the point of getting a buzz from it lol Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. Have a 550 since February 2013 and not a single issue. Touch wood, excuse the pun. Savage little saw and like a fine wine, gets better with age.. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app

    550xp Bar

18 is max I'd go. Ya can't lean on it like ya would a 60cc saw but still pulls out surprisingly well Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. Cheers folks. Going to just get a couple more chains for the 15. If the need arises for some reason maybe I'll try a 13 sometime on it. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. I get ya. I won't be using the 13 for limbing. Just thought it be a faster firewood cutter on the smaller stuff. Them husky techlite bars look a nice bar but never seen them in anything smaller than a 24 or bigger than the one on the t.h saws. Might just forget the 13 and try different chains in the 15:) Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. I like the seat at the end of the gladiator look a decent bit of equipment Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. 50 quid for the light type pro. Probably be best for the rpms of the 13 though. I'm not a serious cutter so a lesser bar might do. Those husky bars are very soft though and I thought they were the same as oregon Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Sound lads. Going to get one of some description. How much are the sugi ones in comparison to a pro lite for example and are the oiling ports ok? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. Thanks for replies all. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. I know mate. Just interested to see what it's like lol. Maybe I'd be wasting money? A well sharpened full chisel on a 13 must be fast... Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
