  1. Hi folks, I'm looking for some of your expertise. I have a 15 and 18" b&c already for said saw but want to try a 13 on it. Who would you recommend for buying this kit off? Postage would be to Ireland. I'd purchase from Rob but his postage costs are high to Ireland. Have a pro lite already and happy with it but don't want a husky bar again. Damn things are made of chocolate. Would like a sugi but might wait and get a sugi in 15 after the husky bar is finished. I'd be happy with a pro lite again or Smth with same quality/same money. Thanks everyone for reading my long winded post. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. Is that a whale lol? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. Just checked the saw for ya mate. I have it set at 11 o clock at max. 9 is middle and so forth. Hope that helps.
  4. When I'm home I'll check it out mate. Can't remember off the top of my head
  5. Have 3 adjustments on my 550 as well. Have it in the middle running a 15" b&c. Fully open on the 18.
  6. It's the way forward. No complaints after a year. Personally think it's great not having to tune a saw for different conditions etc.
  7. Maybe a stihl ms 241cm:thumbup:
  8. Left screw out. Have them kept anyway just in case even though I'm only a part timer. The sound is ear piercing though so muffs are advisable. I have tinnitus already from construction work and don't want it any worse . Must invest in comfortable plugs
  9. Hi all, removed the above mentioned yesterday and pleasantly surprised how it livened it a little more and sounds great. Picks up quicker too. Just thought I'd share this. I was hesitant at removing it at first tbh but to anyone considering it, just :Ddo it.
  10. Have a 550 and have nothing but good to say about it. Don't use it as much as some folks on here or as much as I'd like but it's a bastardo to go
  11. It said in that link that the oil pump on the 550xp is automatic but they are actually adjustable. Mine is anyway. Just thought I'd rectify that
  12. They're not manufactured properly never mind assembled properly. Do as previous poster said. Get rid that piece of shat
  13. Have a 550 since February and no trouble yet touch wood great saw.
  14. Yeah I'm running aspen the last while too eddy so maybe that's something to do with it also. I thought this thing be run in after 4 or 5 tanks. Gets more impressive every few weeks with me lol
  15. Forgot to add. It's on its 4th gallon of fuel so maybe as mentioned it's just freed up
  16. Thanks for the replies. Probably is the colder air. Shouldn't have an air leak already as it's not done an awful lot of work I'm assuming. Thought the autotune would keep the saw running the same no matter what the variations in weather /temperature.
  17. Hi folks. Do the autotune saws have a tendency to run lean on colder weather? Did some cutting yesterday and the thing seems to be screaming louder. It was an amazing saw a few days ago but the thing seems to be in steroids now

What's the the difference in them? Single wheel double wheel tipper etc... Don't get the 100.200 and the 300 and 350 presume it's the size of body

If I can shift my van on I might up my budget also as I really want to give the dyna a go. Might move some of my shooting kit also. Can always be replaced little pickup be much more viable to me now...

Thanks for replies all. Wouldn't be off roading with it. But be handy going to the suppliers etc for gear. Also thinking of delivering firewood and possibly other fuels on the side. I'm a plumber by trade so often get asked about solid fuel as everyone seems to be fitting solid fuel stoves the past few years

    Dyna..

I see. Cheers for the reply. Just thought they be handy around the farm and for work.. Will keep my eyes peeled but a clean one is like hens teeth... Thought the good old UK would help me again with a vehicle. There is alot of newer ones but they are out of my budget for the time been. Thanks again
  24. Looks like a foreign object that did that damage. Did the chain ever come off on ya? Don't look too serious.
