    is all that stand larch? if not do any other species have it - it could be PR - I think you should repot it just in case as PR loves larch - if it is control measures will need to be put in place ASAP

    yesterday went up town looking for a new guitar for my lad on his forthcoming birthday he want this one (gulp) Schecter Synyster Gates Custom-S - Sustainiac - Rich Tone Music bought valentines flowers, card and a bottle of wine for wifey - (she will find it this morning - ive got to go to work in a mo)

    I know a guy who worked at kew gardens many yrs ago who used to fell mature trees by cutting the roots by hand and mounding the excess soil infront of the leaning side of the tree thus snapping the rootplate off

    got to be adaptive growth - a bracket fungus would grow horizontally

    you said very few people pass under it so crown reduce by 2m - consider taking a little more out of that low large branch which is asking to tear out at the trunk

    I also liked the shallow angle on your face cut around 11.50 on vid which allowed the limb to snap off early resulting in landing flat on the ground causing less damage to grassed area - good practice and safe in some situations
