  1. Just bloody shameful: https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/politics/five-damning-findings-from-the-sheffield-trees-investigation-1-9887942
  2. I’m going to sleep ??s and focussing on what’s happening tomorrow. Once that’s done I’ll have a punt at fixing everything else ??
  3. That’s just age creeping up on ya and a slack pelvic floor (did you have the rubber glove off plod?) ?
  4. Some interesting points have been presented - eg the inapplicability of 2 year limit (didn’t know that, could be useful in the future even though most 211s are done fairly quickly after 6 weeks just because that’s how it is) but can’t help but feel the cause of the problem here is the subjects inability to grasp, what I’ve always found to be, a fairly simple, quick and easy online submission process via the planning portal. Failing to grasp the requirements of the system doesn’t (necessarily) mean the system is flawed....
  5. I’ll ‘see’ that ouch and ‘raise’ it with a dose of reality.... ???
  6. A bit of a fraudster? You mean after state sponsored, microscopic, forensic examination of his personal finances, he was found to have done an iffy transaction which, due to his political status, landed him in court? Interesting to contrast and compare the current scenario with HMRC hounding those that took off shore loans instead of salary. True enough a proper cuntish game started by city boys which has percolated down to lesser mortals and they’ve got their fingers burned. There appears to be widespread sympathy for such types having been unfairly treated. You never done a cheeky cash job Mark? Glass houses an all that... I dont know how many times I have to repeat this - I don’t ‘like’ Tommy Robinson - never met him. What i also DON’T like is the blindness to what he says, the state suppression of his message and that his persona has grown from decades of failure by the state to address the issues he highlights. I also despair at the at the tunnel vision of those that are set to hate him rather than listen to the words. It typifies the hypocrisy, discrimination and tunnel vision of the lefter side of politics - demand and espouse tolerance, peace and equality SO LONG AS IT DOESN’T CONFLICT WITH SOCIALIST / MARXIST IDEOLOGY.
  7. I’m not ‘backing’ CA ??s. They exploited data to advertise. I not sure, but I think there have been fines from the ICO rather than convictions - so far as I recollect. First point being, data is collected and utilised by a broad spectrum of business, commerce and government- that’s kinda what it’s for... Second point, people can advertise what ever they want, some may be positively influenced by it, others negatively, and some not at all. Third point, I made no endorsement of CA, I merely tried to highlight the hypocrisy of grandstanding one issue (that somebody worked for a company and that company has been criticised) whilst apparently turning a blind eye to what could be interpreted as a greater issue. It it was just for balance and objectivity...
  8. Mmmmmm, ‘worked for a company’.... Is that better, worse or equal to the leader of Her Majesty’s Opposition associating with a convicted electoral fraudster at a by election? ? Long time Labour Party activist Tariq Mahmood – convicted in 2008 for a vote fabrication scheme – was “front and centre” of the party’s efforts to mobilize the growing Muslim vote in the city, according to local officials.
  9. Just throwing this out there: UK employment figures are at a record high - surely that represents a form of validation for current processes? if we were to knock the 300k net annual immigration numbers on the head, after a couple of years there’d be work for all that wanted it... Just saying loike, gotta be worth a punt ?
  10. Not sure if this best sits in here, or ‘Jokes’, or ‘pet peeves’, or ‘stoopid Facebook memes’, or maybe even somewhere else...? So I’ll just float it out here for a hoot:
  11. Trump has been trying daily.... Seems it just doesn’t matter how much of a bollock he drops, they still love him??
  12. And he’s only just mastered the basic functions ?
  13. You bought your neighbour’s son? That does sound ‘rural’ and a bit ‘French’ ??
  14. I’m actually laughing at myself now! 3 blokes that could have a row with themselves having a row with each other...,
  15. 3x wrong in 1 post Mull, is that a first?
  16. Don’t change the subject - it’s a politically motivated prosecution....
  17. No, hold on a minute..... You’ve ‘said’ it, but you ain’t never gonna ‘do’ is yome? You fucker, you had me then!
  18. Of course that’s true. But maybe the ‘system’ is the problem if the ‘system’ is so fragile as to be shaken to its core by someone asking a person that has already been found guilty ‘how they feel’ between the point of being found guilty and sentence being announced. For the love of God - anyone that seriously thinks this is anything other than a political prosecution is a part of the problem.
