  1. Hey! That hurts!! I’m going to my safe space ?
  2. Yes I do - unless the spineless brigade set about intentionally obstructing it. He will instal a team that actually have the gumption to do it rather than dick around talking about it whilst not actually having any intention of doing so. It is the legal position that it will happen. So if he does nothing, 31 Oct weme out...
  3. ? I didn’t exactly fit that stereotype either.... ?
  4. To be fair, I’d give the whole cabinet their P45 - they are directly responsible for 3 years spaffed up the wall. Oct 31st it is then, do it or do one Boris!
  5. Schhhhhh! It was Morrisons (poor man’s Waitrose) - but only because nearest Waitrose is 20 miles away & I'm too tight to travel that far. That said, hindsight being as it is, one is much less likely to suffer such a visual trauma at Waitrose. Sports jacket and cravat being the socially ‘accepted’ norm for attire - certainly not Lycra!
  6. Because I WAS naked!! ?????
  7. I didn’t realise a trip to the grocery could be quite so interesting. There was also this muppet with a dog shut in the car. The bird at customer services said they didn’t “do” announcements for dogs shut in cars. She though better of it when I explained that I’d put a felling lever through the back window and presented with the alternative of clearing up a car park covered in broken car glass....
  8. I think 1 was female - but I wouldn't deem to assume..... ?
  9. I’m just back from Morrisons (obviously it was just a quick beer & porn top up, not groceries since that’d be woman’s work) and I saw this pair. Now im no expert in the aerodynamic advantages of Lycra for the modern cyclist, but surely the shopping dangling from the drop handlebars will negate any advantage that might come from a spray on suit? And then there is the issue of balance and stability.... I’d have more respect for them if they just turned out starkers rather than ‘pretending’ to cover up with a lick of Lycra..... ???
  10. Company and director fined following worker’s fatal fall from a tree - HSE Media Centre PRESS.HSE.GOV.UK A property investment company and its director have been fined after a worker fell from a tree causing fatal injuries...
  11. Good post Mark ?? Nobody has mentioned yet: Pick your jobs / customers wisely and price accordingly. Avoid spending time and money chasing the job where they’ve already had 300 quotes and are still looking to save another 20 quid.
  12. It certainly seems like the “evidence” (and a sympathetic judge) can be conjured up when there is the “desire” for a specific judicial outcome... Shame on SCC for creating the situation. Shame on FC for being too weak to prosecute. Shame on us all for allowing incompetent politicians to exist in a protected bubble of unaccountability. You’re absolutely right, examples like this have a corrosive effect on public confidence in ‘the system.’
  13. Just bloody shameful: https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/politics/five-damning-findings-from-the-sheffield-trees-investigation-1-9887942
  14. I’m going to sleep ??s and focussing on what’s happening tomorrow. Once that’s done I’ll have a punt at fixing everything else ??
  15. That’s helpful Ti..... ?
  16. That’s just age creeping up on ya and a slack pelvic floor (did you have the rubber glove off plod?) ?
  17. Some interesting points have been presented - eg the inapplicability of 2 year limit (didn’t know that, could be useful in the future even though most 211s are done fairly quickly after 6 weeks just because that’s how it is) but can’t help but feel the cause of the problem here is the subjects inability to grasp, what I’ve always found to be, a fairly simple, quick and easy online submission process via the planning portal. Failing to grasp the requirements of the system doesn’t (necessarily) mean the system is flawed....
  18. I’ll ‘see’ that ouch and ‘raise’ it with a dose of reality.... ???
  19. A bit of a fraudster? You mean after state sponsored, microscopic, forensic examination of his personal finances, he was found to have done an iffy transaction which, due to his political status, landed him in court? Interesting to contrast and compare the current scenario with HMRC hounding those that took off shore loans instead of salary. True enough a proper cuntish game started by city boys which has percolated down to lesser mortals and they’ve got their fingers burned. There appears to be widespread sympathy for such types having been unfairly treated. You never done a cheeky cash job Mark? Glass houses an all that... I dont know how many times I have to repeat this - I don’t ‘like’ Tommy Robinson - never met him. What i also DON’T like is the blindness to what he says, the state suppression of his message and that his persona has grown from decades of failure by the state to address the issues he highlights. I also despair at the at the tunnel vision of those that are set to hate him rather than listen to the words. It typifies the hypocrisy, discrimination and tunnel vision of the lefter side of politics - demand and espouse tolerance, peace and equality SO LONG AS IT DOESN’T CONFLICT WITH SOCIALIST / MARXIST IDEOLOGY.
  20. I’m not ‘backing’ CA ??s. They exploited data to advertise. I not sure, but I think there have been fines from the ICO rather than convictions - so far as I recollect. First point being, data is collected and utilised by a broad spectrum of business, commerce and government- that’s kinda what it’s for... Second point, people can advertise what ever they want, some may be positively influenced by it, others negatively, and some not at all. Third point, I made no endorsement of CA, I merely tried to highlight the hypocrisy of grandstanding one issue (that somebody worked for a company and that company has been criticised) whilst apparently turning a blind eye to what could be interpreted as a greater issue. It it was just for balance and objectivity...
  21. Mmmmmm, ‘worked for a company’.... Is that better, worse or equal to the leader of Her Majesty’s Opposition associating with a convicted electoral fraudster at a by election? ? Long time Labour Party activist Tariq Mahmood – convicted in 2008 for a vote fabrication scheme – was “front and centre” of the party’s efforts to mobilize the growing Muslim vote in the city, according to local officials.
  22. Just throwing this out there: UK employment figures are at a record high - surely that represents a form of validation for current processes? if we were to knock the 300k net annual immigration numbers on the head, after a couple of years there’d be work for all that wanted it... Just saying loike, gotta be worth a punt ?
  23. Not sure if this best sits in here, or ‘Jokes’, or ‘pet peeves’, or ‘stoopid Facebook memes’, or maybe even somewhere else...? So I’ll just float it out here for a hoot:
