  1. Yeah the one in the op. filmed by an Andy dick. Or am I missing a post... Slow motion at the end.
  2. Sorry I've got to disagree and so does the missis. We have both seen it and if you notice the cut was very high. Well above the ground. He was also on a ladder as unless there is a very deep ditch on the left the big end knocks him off the ladder and into the ditch. Can also hear the clatter of an alloy ladder. He was up a ladder cutting that when it came off and hit him knocking him down with the ladder. I can't see anyone walking past.
  3. Ok will do bud. Well be Monday at some point. Yes please on the moisturiser. This hot weather is not doing my skin any good. Need to get my nails done AGAIN this weekend now aswell........ Oh well, face pack on tonight and cucumbers over the eyes....
  4. Did he try (and use that word loosely) and do the felling cut at head height????
  5. I'm pretty sure I'm well past the stihl course now. You may have better chances free lancing yourself out by putting something up on the employment forum on here.
  6. Firstly hahah blooming haha on the the recoil spring. And I'm sure that its not the early 80s anymore bud so that new song is a bit old now  Secondly it wasn't a saw it was a hedgcutter.... (And the missis says I don't listen to her) I have no problems in doing chainsaws. I might just get the hedgcutter off the bloke and send the spring up to you just out of spite. :001_tt2: And pm me over the beer tokens bud. I'm sure I can sort something out for you.
  7. When did you do the maintenance course methingy???
  8. Said it last time this was on. Yes I would climb it. And yes I would also BASE jump off it. Has to be one of the most adrenalin fuelled thing anyone can do.. Love it.
  9. Ok. So looked throught interweb thingy and can't find any of the parts for the strimmer. It's not the plastic part of the head but the shaft part. Been looking at a few other ones but they don't have the same shaft bit. The stihl ones are square but this one is multiple splines. This could be a dead end. Unless I can strip the shaft out and transfer it to a stihl one....
  10. Oh what a day. Better than yesterday. Mower got sorted. Well sort of. It's a fix that will mean the owner can continue until the part arrives, or I find it... Looked at the strimmers. One the head gearing has gone. So needs new. Komatsu gz30n. The other the cable was tight so not opening the throttle all the way up. Meaning the engine wasn't revving as high as it should. Sorted the cable and its now good. This was a lawnflite one. Only had a couple of hours today so that's as far as I got.
  11. Yep what he said. Think its a 19mm or 22mm, off head can't remember. The new buffer will also have this flat bit but its attached. Be carefull when putting new one in as its easy to rip it off the buffer. It's only glued on. Hand tight forst with some locktite, then a tweak with a spanner. When you do the handle on it will pinch the whole lot up in one go, but again be a bit carefull as you can rip he whole buffer apart if too heavy handed.

So you want to be a lifeboatman??? Sure do.:thumbup:
  13. Perfect sense bud. Will have a closer look tomoz. Just eaten so relaxation here I come. Also going to mute the phone.
  14. Crap, crap and more crap... First off was a stump grinder that was stuck. Engine running but no drive. The linkage from engine to oil pump was broken. A mower that no matter how hard or what I tried it just wouldn't behave itself. Another mower that needed a cable that I ordered, not only was the cable 3 days late it was the wrong one. I hate these things as its the cutting season and the customer is crying out for it back. An ms261 that keeps breaking the pull cord. No obvious sign as to why. Just keeps doing it. And two strimmers that just worn behave themselves..... I left after this. Must be pimms o'clock.....
  15. Honda. Can be expensive but pay for what you get. Have been hearing good things about the viking mowers at the moment. John deeres are ok.
  16. So long as its not the van that got stuck twice last year.:lol:

What a muppet. I'm sure some people do these on purpose.... Can't be that stupid surely.
  18. Hahahahahaahahaha nice one. Looks like the best place for it.
  19. Ah spot chieftain it is. Couldn't remember what the bloke said it was but you just jogged my memory. Now I'm afraid I don't have a clue on the rest of the stuff apart from one of the tanks. As it went past me.
  20. Ooohhh so close... The first is a recovery but not the challenger one. Can't remember what one now but definatly not a challenger one. It's too tall. The second was a bit of touch and go. It's either an AS-90 or an AS-80, will ask the owner of it tomoz if it was.
  21. I've just come up with a game for some fun. Who can name the tanks and vehicles in my pics.
  22. War and peace show mate. Folkestone race course. Hot day.
  23. A landy a really really really want. And I'm not stopping until the missis says yes.....
