  5. The bbc are still dong it.... Seriously.... I'm off to another channel.
  6. Channel five just had a 2 minute news flash on it. Why couldn't the BBC just do that...
  7. There are two threads going now. One for the royals and one against. Why do I have a feeling this is going to get ugly.....
  8. If that law gets past I will just attach the broken lead to one end of the dog and the other to a fixing point. "The dog must have pulled too hard on the lead your honour and it broke when the burglar gained illegal access to my property, your honuor"......
  9. Yeah gadget show is on five. Much better. Bird aint bad either.
  10. Yeah. Another mouth for th tax payer.........
  11.:lol: ice cream up my nose now. Thank you. Really looking forward to the show this year. And the missis coming with to see what all the fuss is about aswell. Great thing about shows is being able to do a bit of networking aswell. Meeting and greeting. Plus having a good laugh aswell. Is there going to be a launch of the arbikini at the show????
  12. Nothing wrong with putting a bar in water. Just the engine that's doesn't like it... Keep the power unit out the water, especially the back end. The water will just roun along the chain and get thrown out. The only after care would be drying the bar and chain and getting some oil over it when finished to protect from rusting. Oh and the use of bio oil as its a watercourse.
  13. To be honest the countries don't want to stop it as the room they make from the forest makes more room for opium fields. This makes more money for the governments than trees... As much as people fight to stop it they never will.
  14. I think you are starting a new craze here gardenkit......
  15. Will give that a go. Cheers.
  16. Ok so looking for an ms170 engine case. Problem is the clip part holding the plastic black throttle rod part (shaft switch) has snapped so the rod isn't being held anymore and can't engage choke properly. Obviously a nice shiny new case will outweigh the cost of the saw, so if anyone has one of these in bits I would be gratefull and interested in this part please. Ok so this is a begging post. The saw is not for a customer but a friend. It's been cable tied up so at least the saw can be used but don't know how long for. And would rather have a saw working properly than a bit slap happy with any repair.
  17. Ok. STOP. This is on the milling forum mate not the chainsaw or maintenance forum. He is asking what millers carry with them for the job tool wise.... Should be enough to stop you bud.
  18. Do you know what..... Why the hell not.... Lets get one going like a right stinker. Might need to find a company that can make a hardened piston and rod to put up with the stress of it tho. Rekon it could be a winner...
  19. Yeah should be. but don't worry I don't want you getting upset thinking I've got a favourite now.... Still sending a husky up your way after summer, want to be able to cut some discs with it so its yours to go nuts with
  20. Yes pm received Barrie. Thanks spud but I think Barrie has come up trumps. A nice shiny new one for the customer. It's one of ovendans machines. Will reply to your pm Barrie as soon as I get five minutes. Thanks bud.
  21. That is my artistic side Barrie. Saw the rock and couldn't resist putting it up.
  22. Went down the beach the other day and thought I would have a go:lol:
  23. Next up Is info for both spud and gardenkit. The gearbox has 7 splines inside it. Edit... Forgot the rest of the info. 5.5mm hss drill fits down the splin shaft on gearbox. Smooth end not spiral end. And the strimmer shaft is 24mm thick. Or 23.95mm on callipers. (I know how much of a perfectionist you are...
  24. Ok. First up is the info for gardenkit. The pic is the old cable. The plate on the mower has the digital laser stamped number. GJAAE 3201629 A464, Honda gcv-160
