  1. A few questions. Can spud port it? How does it do timber bigger than the jaw? Is this the point the manual tells you to get a pro in? Could give the stihl 4mix pole saw a run for its money. Not sure about the risk assessment for having a cable in the tree with you.
  2. Hahaha don't think it will end up on the bay spud. It's too powerfull a saw. It doesn't bog in 13inch timber. It's annoying as its only after being held up buy the hook on the back. Other than that it works perfect. Have told e climber to not to let it hang and he will be fine. He just has to master climbing with one hand . Will give it a good going over when start working again. For now I'm getting very fat and cuddly as the missis puts it.
  3. That's awesome. How did you arrange all that?? Could add that to my new year resolution list.
  4. Round three of dinner cooking today. In laws are here so its leg of lamb with all the trimmings. God I feel fat. Need to go back o work and get rid of it all.
  5. Pressure checked the saw. The carb is a new 020t carb. Not working yet as its round three of dinners as the in laws are here today so I'm cooking again.
  6. Did you manage to hit the DZ or did you scatter just like they did back then. I havnt got any real high for 2012, the while year was good for me. Decided what I really want to do with my life. I suppose joining the RNLI was in the top ten, finally got off my backside and done it after thinking about doing it for ages.
  7. Nope. Trust me I checked it over and over again. She spells it hiedi. And it's how it is on birth cert and all ID. Believe me I wouldn't chance getting that wrong
  8. I thought nptc and lantra are the same thing now?? Sorry derail.
  9. Impulse line is good spud. Checked all that. Carb is also nice and clean. Will look into the tuning. Did tune it up so its perfect on pickup and tickover but will double check this.
  10. So there is a law then.... What you came accros saying is there wasn't a law against felling a tree. Now your saying there is. Writing down on a forum so your point is made and understood takes some carefull thinking. To me your post start with no law exept hse, then they change to yes there are laws so you can't do it. How its being read. A law is a law whoever it stands from. Either police or hse or any other governing body. Also now its required to have tickets as the gardener in the case I pointed out didn't have any same as this one has stated he hasn't. My overall advice is to either get a qualified person in to help out for a day or sub it out to someone else. You are stepping into a mindfield. Welcome by the way.
  11. So there is a law against taking a tree down then :confused1: Already said no tickets.
  12. I'm a bit fussed over this one... Do you mean fell as in cut at the bottom and fell it over or climb and dismantle it??? If its climb and dismantle it then I would go back to a case before where a gardener was done for dismantling a tree from a ladder and got a huge fine for it. If its straight cut and fell then no law exists, not until it all goes wrong and some damage is done.
  13. Too true ELG. I have worked for a less than appritiative boss before and I couldn't wait to quit the job. It meant my work although to a high standard took me longer to complete. Not in arb by the way. A good boss means good workers. Man management plays a huge part in getting the most from a work force.
  14. Being able to leave the phone alone while the brash piles up..... Being able to understand what the climber wants or needs.... Being able to just bust a job out and go home rather than drag it out... Being able to turn up on time.... I have worked for 7 years on the ground and I don't think I have missed a beat on the ground, well I hope not but I'm sure d a tree surgeons can say if I have or not.
  15. There is a place down the road from me that does pies and they are the dogs doo dahs. They do three types, steak. Steak and kidney and chicken. The steak ones have gravy in them and the chicken ones have bread sauce. I swear the chicken meat comes from huge mutant chickens aswell.
  16. Health professional would be. the right start. Getting a training plan in place is the second. I don't know your situation either. But if health is good otherwise and you find that you are in an office all day make time to do some training. Either join a gym and get going or get your own exercise machine and spend an hour on it in he evening. Just before bed or shower is always good. An hour a day makes all the difference. Sounds like self esteem will play a big part on going to a gym, but you will find that most people at a gym have no time to notice anyone big as they are too busy doing what they are doing. A running machine or rowing machines are the best at getting a few pounds off as its all cardio vascular work and really makes the body work for it.
  17. That's going too need a lot of gravy. Looks a little dry to me.
  18. That's the trick rob. It's all glued so no one can eat it. Hahahahahaahahaha
  19. The perfect Boxing Day spread me thinks. Going to need to work hard to burn this fat off in the new year.
  20. Just downloaded the nuketown 2025 zombie map. Good god....
  21. A quick post I forgot about. The 200t still has vertigo issues. Had it on a job the other day on the ground. Not using it just leaving it to run. Run perfect when Level, Hung it off the chipper and left for a few minutes it will tickover but level it up and pull throttle it does out. Doesn't matter if the foam filter is in or not still does it.
  22. Agree with you on that one. Played both now. Got to say on campaign I liked medal of honour more. Wait for the car driving level
  23. Right campaign done now I can move onto multiplayer. And yes done in a evening on veteran.
