  1. I've never shaved a flywheel - guess that's up to you. but certainly worth getting the cat out. From memory once that's happened the outlet is plenty big enough No I've never done that on a standard saw but wes went the whole hog on my makita Including lightening the flywheel and porting And it's a fantastic runner

  3. You got a choice of two good saws there and as @Stubby says the echo cs-590 timber wolf is a good saw I’ve had one of those as welll another one worth considering is the Makita ea-5600 a very reliable strong saw with excellent AV and cheap as well

    That looks a decent peice of kit ive just supplied a Makita twin battery blower and I was surprised how quiet and powerful it was

Yeah sorry been a bit up and down here I’ve decided to give up full time work and concentrate on having a easier lifestyle and spend more time at home I still haven’t had a conformation about price and availability there’s hardly any big red red ones around but later in the summer can invest in some red or blue whatever I available

    A cheap quick fix is cohesive bandage or vetrap available from most farm equine shops i use it after ive made up or restored double and single bit axes for customers I wrap it on a few layers for protection and it’s a brilliant shock absorber too try them out before shipping , then I can cut it off with theee old pocket knife and ship them out

  16. Yeah they are a cracking saw it served you well they done a double eagle 80 as well but there quite rare

  23. Yes gotta 2012 JXu 105 with a quicke loader very happy with it had it 18 mths i know it’s a lower spec than the mxu
