  1. https://arbtalk.co.uk/forums/topic/70928-very-long-shot-dolmar-166-dead-or-alive-wanted/ this is an older Arbtalk thread showing lee’s collection in 2013 he had 32 x 166 and 3 x SP118 in the McCulloch livery
  2. Yes he absolutely loves them the last I heard he has bought four or five since this video was made
  3. Here’s a photo of 1/3 of his collection of 166’s in Sachs Dolmar and McCulloch version
  4. Yes Dan I had an alert and thought I better have a look
  5. They are lovely saws and pull long bars like a freight train there isn’t a lot wrong with this saw only a bit of carb work probably I know one person who’s bidding on anything interesting in the big Dolmar saws he also collects Ford escorts so he probably won’t stop much below 2K the other option is a Dolmar CT or a 153 both lovely saws but nice too hear from anyone who likes collecting Sachs Dolmar and Dolmar
  6. Andy if you need any help let me know but what Dan says stick with the 050 1.3mm narrow kerf a better cut for that saw but the dcs4300 is just an older version of the ea4300
  7. A new tank isn’t going to break the bank this is the most expensive one I could find worth fixing up

  10. if you need a 3/8 spur sprocket for your saw I have some packed away somewhere and I’ve got .325 spur sprockets as @Stere says if you can find a 3/8 lo pro rim sprocket you can use a clutch drum from Ea-5000 or ea-6100 or if no joy try your stiga dealer and get a 3/8 lo pro spur sprocket for a stiga sp-386
  11. Thank you sir , you’ve got a few saws with wrap handles
  12. What size handles are you needing is it single bit or double bit handles

Very similar on two models there’s definitely some Use or copied out of older Dolmar makita models If I put any money on it I would go the following way the stiga CP-466 is based on the Dolmar PS-460 the stiga CP-526 is based on the Dolmar PS-500 these models where the red top semi pro versions from 12+ yrs ago in the next couple of weeks I will take a closer look at these models
