  13. @Ian C you wanna give this new Dolmar topper a trial
  14. Thats an image Andrew, you standing next to the chipper with your old fella out measuring wood to decide what to put through the chipper. Now you know why Iam no longer welcome on FC land ha ha??
  15. Defiantely recommend the woodland mills wc88 bought one 4yrs very happy with it I usually run it on a international 434 small compact easy to get in small places chips everything I need and as @agrimog says straightforward and well thought out easy too maintain yourself I was told years ago that everything bigger than a donkeys manhood is firewood so I never chip big brash

  18. This is it in a nutshell , there’s an option on new saws .325 or 3/8 Most times a new one will come with a bar and two chains don’t worry about drive sprockets there off the shelf and easy too get the Dolmar bars are pretty robust and will last a decent time
  19. Yeah it will come On a 3/8 058 18” 64DL K095 Mount which is a smaller narrower tailed bar
  20. Yes not good at the moment dark grey and wet , alot of heavy rain this morning haven’t seen Dartmoor for a couple of days
  21. It was for me this one I never seem too have any saws around when I need them it’ll be interesting too see how this one performs
  22. Yeah the 6100 isn’t as nimble as some of the huskies that size and probably not the best for smaller softwoods it’s ideal for hardwood And logging , a useful saw on 20” 24” bar I’ve put a few of them out there mostly in hardwood felling and chestnut coppicing everyone seems too get on ok Hey Wallace I gotta mastermind 6100 coming over soon look forward too see how that’ll perform
