  3. yep iam the proud new owner :thumbup1: thanks to timber cutter getting this beauty for me me me:thumbup1: its one awesome saw, only done some light work but it is gonna be one aggressive saw once a few tanks of petrol have gone through her i got the the 5105 the same as jon's which is a wicked saw so all you guy's take a step into the unknown and try a dolmar text jon he will sort you out with a quality saw or go to your local makita dealer and ''demand a dolmar'' you wont be disapointed:thumbup::thumbup:

  6. i like cutting overgrown hedges back too shape so thorn, hazel and sycamore for me and when i want a real good fix good old leylandi:thumbup:
  7. it is going to be a very long season this year lots of people buying summer logs i agree with t.c.d there are lots of new woodburners been sold in the last 12 mths and hardwood will be short supply iam glad to have some logs in bags and crates ready for the winter:thumbup1:

  13. yes i agree with jon pay the saw operator when its measured on the trailer that way you dont have to worry about saws and operators fulfilling there full potential:thumbup: this would be a perfect job for a hungry 5105 they love cutting it by the cubic metre:thumbup1::thumbup1:
  14. ok jon i will ask eggs :thumbup: i ordered 10 litre bag in a box of sunset cider looks good it will be here tomorrow the other cider looks strong stuff pig swill crazy goat bee sting star gazer and fire dancer :thumbup1:

  17. hello paul i know what you mean i travel up to sw10 area and when i gotta stay there i get fed up:thumbdown: yes you gotta go where you feel happiest there are many caves in this green and pleasent land some full with cider and some full of beer :thumbup:

  20. the houses and buildings are so beautiful in that area and that big wooden door in the photo looks heavy and old:thumbup:
  21. yes i agree totally:thumbup: i cut alo tof walking sticks and 8/10 times the best stick in a clump of hazel is in the centre and the silky is right in there no ptoblem where as the bowsaw is catching on the other sticks plus the silky is back in the holster both hands free to carry the walking sticks :thumbup:
