  1. I think if a battery is deeply discharged it not good to charge it hard and fast . It needs to trickle gently
  2. Spud has a vid in his porting thread of one of his saws . Not a 346 but a 357 which he ported and fitted a pop up piston . pretty rapid saw ....
  3. It fetches you a nice cup of tea and sits you down with a bun and says " there , there , there " ........
  4. Spud is a member on here . Most of my saws have been ported by him . 346 , 372 , 390 , etc etc ...Look up spuds porting thread or his whats on your bench thread to find him .
  5. If you find one get spud to port it . You will then have slightly better performance than a 550 with out the auto tune to contend with . He did mine and it pulls a 15" full chiz .325 driven by an 8 pin sprocket........
  6. + 1 for pulling . Then burn it .
  7. I think you can get a better edge with a file . If you have extensive damage then they can help remove it quickly but always finish with a file personally . Midhurst internet seems quicker than Lavant !
  8. Not a 20% heat increase . Just spreads the heat you got around the house more efficiently .
  9. Thats the front door ...stove is enormous
  10. Yep that sorta thing does it . Meant to say the op cured mine so hopefully it will yours ....
  11. Spud did my 346 a good long time ago , one of the first if not the first . Still going strong on a 15" .325 driven by an 8 pin . There was no such thing as a 550 then but since the 550 was borne I always wondered if it would better my 346 . Seems not !
  12. James . You seem like a nice guy . Excellent work by the way ..
  13. I had it . Numbness in the two fingers nearest the thumb . There is a sheath in your wrist that the nerves and tendons pass through . When you get " pumped " from repetitive exercises/work it constricts the tunnel sheath compressing the nerves . They just cut the the sheath to allow for expansion . Day surgery only . A few stitches and some rest to heal . Mine was caused by heavy braking and throttle control on a bike .
  14. Superb ! Drives its self off as well !
  15. Put in the Cobra then remove the cable .......

    200T mystery...

Carb or carb linkage problem . Piston pump in the carb is a common failure . Not sure if its that though ...
  17. He does say " be safe " at the end of the 2nd vid ....
  18. Outstanding work bud ! ...Like it very much .
  19. Pfanner are pretty tough . I don't have type C but have 3x type A and they haven't ripped yet ....
  20. Below the aluminum tree tag ( e597) and more central someone has thrown a black current jam sandwich .
  21. I have a twin port 395 on a 36" .404 . Cant say I notice any excessive vibes ? Cut pretty good on that set up so should fly on a 28/30 .375 set up ...
